- Starts of normal, gets wild. I started off just trying to copy the original song, but then I started adding a bunch of extra parts to fill it out. repeats once
created using famitracker with vrc6 module

Why the heck this channel has only 70 subs? It's underrated, great cover
thanks a lot! yeah idk what else I can except keep coming up with more music. I prefer doing original stuff instead of covers so there's probably that... with this one though, I expanded upon the song which I think worked out really well
Reminds me a lot of the Game Gear soundtracks, especially the Sonic ones.
Thank you! Sonic music is some of my favorite stuff, growing up playing all the genesis games. My brother had a Game Gear and Sonic 2 that I played as well. One of the main things I added to this version (besides all the new original parts) of the Snake Man theme were pitch bends (slide up or slide downs). The original is pretty flat. Sonic music definitely has a lot of that going on whereas most Mega Man music doesn't. So, maybe it's the best of 2 worlds colliding? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
lol
I was thinking NeoGeo PC but either way this great.
Sounds good!
Thank you!
Holy shit! Greatness!
Thanks! I'm glad I was ambitious about extending this one because it turned out pretty fire imo.
Simple but effective, I love it!
The intention was to be true to the original, but just in VRC6 and with a lot of bends and delay added. Then, I started adding some new stuff because I thought nobody would want to click and listen to just a 1 minute song. So I added a bunch of harmony and melody lines, new bass lines and parts. Overall I'm pretty satisfied and I'm glad you like it!
@@derekmessink I really like that approach. On the one hand, people always want to hear familiar tunes, and on the other you add new parts that make your cover stand out. Too bad that I don't have as much creativity when creating covers as you do.
Also, I'm sorry if this is a little rude, but could you check out a couple of covers on my channel? There are a couple of Megaman covers. I would really like to know your opinion about them.
@@ricoh9379 for sure. you should check out the discord and chat discord.gg/X2SwZRcpED
