The spirit of the themes and era is there, but 1:30 seconds to reach the beginning of a lukewarm change kills it for me. You are clearly good, but i feel you got lost in the sauce.
Well to each their own I guess. For me this moment builds up the track and lays the foundations for later on. My goal is to make these remixes sound like proper electronic tunes (which can be enjoyed even by people who are not familiar with the games) with all the phases of one - intro, mid, outro and not just lazily copy-paste the original with swapped instruments. 🙂 However I fully understand that this might not be everyone's cup of tea or an expectation for such a remix and I'm ok with it.
