This was the best time to be an O’s fan. Thank you for all the memories, Crush. I will never forget what you did for the franchise along with the many many highlights you’ve had.
Not anywhere close. Jacked up on who knows what for 2 years. You clearly should have seen Frank & Brooks & Boog & Eddie & Cal. There is nothing here but illusion.
I grew to despise him for not retiring. He got curiously smaller and caused 4 years of misery with the team saddled with a horrible contract. Davis should give that money to charity.
Watching this makes me wonder what happened to him. He was the main reason for the playoff run that year. Thank you #19. I will always appreciate what you did.
He was a big part of the small successful run the O's were on in the mid 10's. He was homer or strikeout but it didn't matter at the time, it was fun to watch. Sad to see him decline so quickly. Something got in his head and he was never the same at the end of his career. Enjoy retirement and thanks for the memories Chris.
Miss you, Chris. Enjoy retirement, sir. What a home run hitter. I was fortunate enough to see quite a few of his home runs. Two were most memorable. One was his and Trumbo's back to back homers after the Machado/Ventura fight. But my favorite was a walk off home run he had against the White Sox and it was a fireworks night. Such good memories and a fun time to be an O's fan. May never see Camden that packed again. 🥺
@Chrispy yeah i never understood why he didnt keep getting his pass for his adhd medication. It must have really been effecting his mood, but his hitting went bye bye after 13
Led the league in HR's, RBI's and total bases that year, third in MVP voting. Really sad how quickly he fell off after 2017. He last played for the O's in 2020. We still paid him $43M across 2021-2022 to NOT play for us. We also will pay him deferred money until 2037.
As an O's fan since like 1991, i still hate the Angelos'. Chris Davis will receive like almost 60 million from us until 2037. Worst contract ever. Edit: Ok i had to Google it: The Orioles are scheduled to pay Davis $3.5 million on each July 1 from 2023 to 2032 and $1.4 million on each July 1 from 2033 to 2037. The Orioles salary is 70-ish million right now.. 3.5 million of that til 2032 without even playing, is just the dumbest thing ever for our ownership, but i guess genius for Davis. Even though the dude couldn't get a hit in 54 straight games. God, sometimes being an O's fan makes you want to jump off a high rise
I had to be reminded that he actually played, and was great. I'm not happy that he got hurt, that's just plain cruel. But, he was a major payroll drain.
The Lord is coming soon. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and repent of your sins and He will set you free. He loves you so much that He died for you. John 3:26, John 14:6 Acts 16:31 Romans 10:9-10
Was fun to watch but he was all drugged up with Adderall. After he was suspended for using it without authority he turned into nothing. A tragic case of drug dependence to achieve results and that season led to the disastrous 6 year contract.
I feel like Adderall being illegal ain’t right. It literally doesn’t help anything physically. It’s just to help you focus better. If he had ADD or ADHD it makes sense if he needed it. I know people that literally can’t function without it, not because they are addicted but just because of their disease.
The fall wasn't pretty, but we'll always have the memories of 2012 to 2017. Thanks for so many happy memories Crush!
"GOODBYE, HOMERUN!" - Gary Thorne
"Wave that baby bye bye" - Joe Angel
We just didn't know how good we had it.
This is how I choose to remember Chris Davis
dude looks like he’s playing golf, effortless swing
Peak Chris Davis was the greatest power threat since Bonds
This was the best time to be an O’s fan. Thank you for all the memories, Crush. I will never forget what you did for the franchise along with the many many highlights you’ve had.
And I will never forget what he did TO the franchise

You do know he’s still being paid until the year 2037.
@@bcdoak2525 You're not a real fan.
That was 14 minutes of joy to watch. And joy to hear Gary T, Fred M, Joe A, Jim H, and Mike B again.
Definitely refreshing to hear Gary again and the others.
My third favorite swing of all time. So relaxed yet so powerful.
i miss this O’s team so much jones, hardy, davis, machado, markakas.
Hunter too no?
Dude was swinging a 35.5/36 inch bat some of them 35 ounces which is why it looks like he’s barely doing anything
A literal CLUB
I just really really wish he could of kept this going cause he was my favorite first basemen
Watching this makes me wonder what happened to him. He was the main reason for the playoff run that year. Thank you #19. I will always appreciate what you did.
They took away his Adderall is what happened
His swing wasn’t built to last
@@WheresWagner he was on adderall until he retired it was allowed by the league
@@deesnuts1 no he wasn’t. He changed meds after getting busted to something else
@@WheresWagner other way around, he was using amphetamines and got cleared to use adderall
i’m gonna cry😔
Thank you Chris Davis
I can’t not believe it
Man he had sweet, smooth swing.
back when left field fence actually made sense.
It was just strange how he all of a sudden just stopped hitting!🤔

The Orioles are still on the hook for the rest of his contract....I'm sure he is going to enjoy his retirement....
The MLB treating his ADHD meds like PEDs certainly didn't help him.
Chris is my favorite player, I was so sad when I heard about him retiring.
Crush Davis, miss that so much!
He used to “Crush” baseballs
It was fun while it lasted.
Thank you guys for putting this video together!
Take me back 😭

He was such a joy to watch, and this is how I'll always remember him. Thanks for all you did for the franchise, Chris.
This man barely had to swing to launch it.

Imagine if he never stopped hitting like this. Man I feel bad for him

Crush Davis‼️‼️
Good ol days

Never to be heard of again...
1:50 No, Effort. One Handed. That Should Be A Benchmark For Todays Power Hitters.
53 home runs and 54 hitless at bats
As an O's fan since like 1991, i still hate the Angelos'.

His retirement year was a let down
Crush
Good bye homerun hello Utau Street😂😂😂
Most of those homers to left field would no longer be homers with the new wall
a lot more opposite field homers than i expected
And then another record with almost the same #, 54... At bats with no hit.
1:49
It went from 21 to 23. They didn't show HR #22. Where is 22?
Dude made it look easy that year. Sad his career took a dive with the Adderall nonsense.
Also his newborn baby daughter had heart disease 😢
That had to be a big part of his mental struggle, being away from home while that was going on. ❤❤❤
the fact that Davis never won an MVP is absurd
Yea then we wasted all of our money on him to hit 196 the next year should have just resigned Machado instead
Guy used steroids no question. Mediocre hitter all of a sudden becomes a monster.

Bat speed on his wing looks weird
