Great compilation. I love how Ferdinand describes his experiences of playing against Messi and how he admires him
Rio you’re not just a excellent football player, you are a excellent sportsman to, Messi is a present from God to enjoy this beautiful game, 🙏😍❤️👍🇦🇺
Pierce Morgan need to listen to Rio Ferdinand about Messi the greatest of all time
Morgan does it for views he’s in the entertainment business DISAGREEING with Messi is viewers.
@@robheb1355 you're absolutely right bro
@@robheb1355 That makes a ton of sense
Lincoln Morgan: You didn't follow well the behaviour of Piers Morgan for years. He is an attention seeker. When everybody says YES to something, He stands alone, saying NO with absurd argument.
Just go back and trace about Piers Morgan.
@@terefefeyssa877 you're absolutely right
The way ferdinand steering at messi photo tells it all🤣🤣🤣🤣
Staring
Yea ferdinand is a great guy and quite honest in all his analysis. Love him
Messi's haters becoming his fans is the most satisfying sight ever.
Rio always praised Messi.
Took me 45 minutes to turn when he scored a hatrick before halftime against arsenal
Rio was NEVER a Messi hater..
When was Rio a messi hater?
Rio Ferdinand was always a fan of messi though
Those who saw Messi, especially when Pep trained Barca, will have to deal with the fact that they have to explain it to a generation that has not seen Messi play. It reminds me of my father, born in 1960, who told me about Diego and how good he was. Of course, for me it was all very abstract and I just had to take his word. Luckily there are a few highlight reels of him, but beside the WC-final in 1990 and one or two games in 1994 WC in the US I didnt see anything of him at all. He was bleak in the 1990 final and probably past his prime in 1994. The reels point to where you may grasp how good he was, but in the grand picture it didn't help me at all.
I think Rio finds wonderful words. He had no shame in admitting defeat and destruction, because he and they gave all they had and I think that is exactly what let him look in the mirror and say what's fact.
I will only say, that Peps Barca was a time ( and the only time in my life), when the playing schedule of a football team affected my personal life. It was not enough to see a highlight video of a game, I wanted the full program. As stupid as it may sound, when they played I had no time for no one and I don't regret it. Thats how good that team was and it converged with Messi at the absolute peak of his powers. Back in the days you just knew Cristiano would score, but you could never anticipate with what Barca and Messi would come up with. It was like a mystery egg, every game a mystery egg with more often than not an incredible surprise. What we see in highlight videos here on RUclips, IMHO it captures not even half of what was going on and what actually happened. We don't see a lot of the plays, because we have so much material that ended successful, that there's no need to dig out the scenes that weren't successful. But the greatness lies there, there in the realm that statistics are unable to measure.
So, I'm glad we have testimonials from players like Rio to capture and comprehend the greatness that has been unfoldeding - especially in the Pep-era.
Keane, Ferdinand, Kroos, Modric ; all are now Messi Fan... Reality Check...🤣🤣🤣
Ferdinand has been a Messi fan for years.. Modric never doubted Messi either.. Dunno about Kroos tho but pretty sure even he never actively badmouthed Messi..
@@justpassing5994 correct he never held back on praising how good he is and was back then
@@justpassing5994 yea Rio has always spoken highly of messi. These guys just hatin for no reason.
Without any doubt, MESSI is by far the best footballer of all time, he is the essence of football, his every move is a pure artwork. Those who love football enjoy the star while he is still playing. I enjoy a lot with games of the Portuguese national team, and I admire the professionalism, the will and the desire of our CR7, but I have to admit, as Pep Guardiola says: "Nobody can doubt that Messi is the best of all time." As well as Cruyff says "Messi will be the player awarded the Golden Ball most times in the history of football. He will win five, six, seven, he is incomparable. He plays in another league."
You don't have to be a great coach or player to see and appreciate this genius that is MESSI. Thank you MESSI.
their not fun their are talking truth about football the way Massi play the games
How can you hate messi even his haters are turning into his fans what a legend ❤️
And the fact that he seems to have no arrogance almost seems to turn him into a religious figure. . people seem to go into ecstasy watching him
Ferdinand was right all along. He knew better.
This is happened When MU was a king in premier league..
Crazy..
But unlucky, they're facing The rising of Messi and became Monster era..
Other club' just lucky doesnt meet this Messi n Barca version 💯
No body was stopping this man u in the prem, messi met them and tore them apart, along with xavi Iniesta villa alves etc, which is kinda strange that some people could watch this and say, can he do it against wolves tho?
@@yes-wh1zj
Yup Tbf thats ridiculous
Get a room Rio ffs! No, I'm joking, Rio was and is quality imo.
I never thought I'd see a better player than Maradona, but Messi changed my mind....I think! Maradona was unreal for maybe 10 years. Messi has been unreal for 15, and counting. I could go on about both for days...Argentina are lucky to have both.
*MESSI IS THE GOD OF FOOTBALL*
coming from a guy that played with ronaldo
And still a lot of people doubting he would do well in the Premier League 😆
they told the same story about haaland.. haaland is destroying prem teams 😂
Primier league is just overrated
Nobody said that besides old pundits 15 years ago not actual fans
It really funny how they say that when he already bullied most of the biggest club in the prem ☠️
3:30 is the most. Because it's all about clarity. In any discipline. I've personally felt it myself a few times (playing drums or writing words or having sex and whatnot) where you're so focused on the task at hand that instinct takes over to devastating/wonderful effect. The difference between Messi (and other great artists/athletes) and we mere mortals? Those mere moments, which the rest of us enjoy from time to time, become naturally recurring events, with compounding interest, within the spirits of extraordinary people like Lionel Messi.
Great video man
“Prime time Lionel Messi, Unplayable “
~Rio Ferdinand
i love it keep it coming
Ferdinand was in the Man Utd side that beat Barcelona in 2008
Messi is different to Ronaldo thats why Manc defenders couldn't figure him out.
Your sooo right 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Rio knows ball
Didn‘t Ferdinand play in the 07/08 CL Semi finals against Barcelona?
He did.
They actually played 4 times in champions league
Weird how Rio Ferdinand pronounces the letter H wrong at 3:50 putting an unwanted huh sound at the start when it's spelled Aitch.
But then in the very next clip he pronounces it correctly when saying "GBH". Usually someone either always says it right "Aitch" or they always say it wrong "Haitch".
He played him more than twice. You just said he played him "twice in ChampionsLeague matches" you meant twice in ChampionsLeague finals. Rio beat him in 2008 semi-finals with 2 clean sheets out of 2 that season.
GOD disguised to play football.....this was bound to happen!
"Rio Ferdinand betrayed me"
I've never seen any Spanish speaking players who talk about Messi like this. If there are please let me know
Good Video bro but you dont need to talk like women
