These vids are pretty standard stuff straight out of those canoe books at Woodcrater stores. Andy if you like i could verbally clue you into doing straight up design(full scale point plotting& drafting your own designs) not a 3D design program, but OLD SCHOOL. I have a system of an Aluminum framing with linear sliding components enabling me to build 2ft to 24ft. lenghts hulls and 1 foot to 5ft. beems all by socket wrench adjustments to my jig. Built jig on 10ft. long heavy work bench. My strong backs are colapsable 4 piece each joined via short dowels. The Aluminum framing system extrusions have standard 10mm. 2 holes(over&under each other). I use 45mm.x90mm."T"-sloted extrusions(there are dozens of brands). Because those extrusions are dead true straight and the 2 - 10mm. holes are consistant thru the lenghts i just use 1045 ground&polished dowels 1/2"diam.. machined for a hand tight fit in lenghts conveient to reuse for any popular lenght canoes i make. These always go directly into home made,but very professional rotary indexers at the bow& stern stansions of this jig. Comment back and i'l send contact info via your P.O. box.
