Just bought the pattern and I'm using the facets yarn from my stash. Can't wait to see the finished product .. in about a week ..lol.. I can't even fathom making it all in one day. Thank you KaraLeez for the pattern.
Youre so prolific, it's inspiring! I spend too much gaming, i need to get back into crotchet. Ive always wanted to learn how to knit as well but as a crotcheter, it's so awkward!
I both knit and crochet and started as a crocheter too!! And let me tell you, knowing how to crochet helped me understand knitting way easier. It’s actually really easy to do ! Don’t give up !!! I learnt English style knit
@@elisafontaine3357 It's wild that you just replied because I did start knitting this year! And as you said, crocheting did help! Knitting is also much easier on my wrists, so it's been really fun!
I really need to learn how to knit asap! Also it took me 3mths to make a scarf... so i feel ya on those long projects. Loved how this turned out for you! 💛
1. I already have some facets yarn in my stash READY for this project. 2. There is a color way at Michaels that looks like a mermaid. 3. GUESS I'M SOLD Looks great Grace!
I am trying to do the basic open knit sweater pattern. I have gotten to the point where I have done the body and I am a bit confused on how you start working on only half. Do you switch which needles are in each hand? what do you do? This is my first time knitting and I am very confused. I would really appreciate your help. Do you have a youtube tutorial/video for this pattern that I could watch? I would really appreciate it.
Your normal way is called english parlour style. Its history is a bit odd and classist as it seems to have developed to distinguish the upper class to the lower working class. Upper class women would knit for leisure (compared to the working class who would do it as a job or out of necessity) and wanted to posh elegant way of knitting to show they were upper class 😂 PS Your sweater is soooo cute! ❤
Cast-on always take the most time for me. Also for my small carnie hands, knitting with big needles takes me longer i swear Edit: im trying to say im "struggling" with you xD Needle length is why i favour DPNs in my collection. Great sweater!!!
hey, I bought the pattern for the orange sweater on etzy, and I bought the same yarn as you, what size did you make the sweater, how many balls of yarn did you use and what size needle, hope you can help :))
