- The Hype is real and Magnacut is getting worked on. A great Steel for sure. In this Video I am making 4 knives out of Magnacut. Profiling, grinding the bevels and the heatreat.

getting magnacut coated, like in PVD or DLC, would this affect the "heat treat" of magnacut ?
Cerakote is below the tempere temperatures of the steels. With DLC i am not even sure if they need heat. With PVD i have not experiences
Wie immer „Great Work“ 😎
danke dir
You must really love working with your hands... I'll just model the knife in parametric CAD, creating a routing and take the steel blank to a CnC mill to be cut and milled to the exact shape. It'll come back ready to be polished and be sent out for heat treat. Grinding a double bevel that is curved is on a belt by hand particularly hard. Setting up the blank at 15 degrees then having the CnC machine do it is much easier and much more precise. Also, once I do one I can make any number of additional pieces that are exactly identical down to 0.05 mm.
that is pretty awesome. The Hydra and Indomitor gets made like that for me by another company for me. Really interesting. But i really do love working with my hands. Both styles work perfectly CnC or handmade both are a valid option
I’m glad I came across this! Really like your style of video! Look forward to watching part 2!!! Also just subscribed! Keep em coming brother! 🤙
thanks mate i really do appreciate it
Which steel do you like for the knife?
i real like SB1 MagnaCut AEBL and 80CRv2 Steel
Sehr cool. Ich schaue deine Beiträge immer wider gerne. Mach bitte weiter so.
Obwohl ich beim Sagenreichen Mystischen MagnaCut zumindest umherfliegenden Feen Staub erwartet habe 😂
Danke dir💪 freut mich sehr
Kommt immer drauf an
Is that hilarious thing in your nose magnacut?
yeah i only use the best for my nose😂
