    See U In History, you guys are amazing. First you gave us the Trojan War. Then the voyage of Odysseus. Now we need the journey of Aeneas to complete the trilogy. The Iliad, Odyssey and Aeneid all wrapped up together like this would be epic.

    When I read Homer epic, one thing astonished me is the narrative structure of odyssey, it’s very modern and complicated. I can’t believe it’s written 3000 years ago.

    Greek mythology is my favorite mythology. I'll summarize it for the youngings in few words. Human insult god, God keep grudges, Human suffer, Human regret, repeat with different human and different plot. Greek mythology in a nutshell.

      The ruins of Troy have been found , and the Greek alliance kinda resembles the sea people who invaded eastern Mediterranean during the Bronze Age collapse . Obviously the gods don’t come and deflect arrows or spears but the overall story is quite plausible..
