It's likely an illusion. Studio recording spliced with video from multiple cameras and/or takes with some ambient sounds taken from the location. All perfectly balanced to seem legitimate, but not problematic. There is a ridiculous amount of artistry that goes into that, but it's a different kind of skilled.
@@austinshoupe3003 doesn't seem/sound like a studio recording, all movements perfectly synced, many camera switches happen just in the middle of a musical phrase. Lucie is skilled enough to record with a single take (I'm not saying first take, but among multiple takes she surely can perform one flawlessly).
@@elregister1475 trust me on this. This is a thing I do as part of my job. A professional musician can replicate a good performance repeatedly. There's also a lot of tricks with film and audio to make unsynced things seem synced. The fact that the camera cuts are in the middle of phrases is really more in support of audio and video originally recorded separate. The editer has more freedom that way. Big suggestions that the recording was done inside is the slight bit of reverb and the extremely full tone. Being outside usually introduces too much noise to get that kind of quality or make adding reverb easy. There's a real chance the reverb is from the walls of a room.
0:55 : almost seems like the birds are answering! Anyway, who disliked this? This is a wonderfully played beautiful Piece, you cannot dislike it, even just to respect all of this musicianship.
Superb. And I think that recording of the arrival of the Queen of Sheba was phenomenal. Lucie, you were sublime, but those violins just 'sang' amazingly too - everything came together - one of the most inspiring pieces of music I've seen in a long time.
An everyday person is usually annoyed by recorders since most of them have their soprano recorder from school in mind. It is scary to see how you have been developing your skills and performances 'out of nothing' (= usual soprano recorder), without any idiotic subscribe hints, facial expressions or shouting. This is pure talent, thank you!
Ivory-made? Looks (and sounds) so good! Also, this is how I like to imagine how someone stealthily transcribed what -Herr- Mr Jacob improvised. Love the freedom in the reading; like an echo-fantasia.
Lucie van Eyck! You own this piece! Right now the skies here in Northern California are dark with smoke, but this latest video of yours has brightened my day! When the skies clear and the virus is a thing of the past, I hope you will perform in the San Francisco Bay area (hopefully on a night I'm not working, lol). BTW, for those who are hearing Lucie Horsch for the first time, here's a video of her playing this piece when she was a little girl... ruclips.net/video/7TbVYhqbr3M/видео.html and a few months ago in a real hall... ruclips.net/video/LJfs9OqNuKE/видео.html I encourage you to watch the whole concert, as Lucie is a great artist worthy of great attention.
I love this music ! Thank you Lucie !! I Would like to have a sopranino recorder 415 Hz which one would you recomend me ? Do you know if there are plastic sopranino recorder in 415 Hz ? Thank you for your help !!
Since I see her video of roasting I knew she's the chosen one...
Yes...
The way the sound bends in the wind really makes it sound like a real songbird.... amazing!!!
I love the way she plays the Sopranino ...
So beautiful!! I honestly never knew recorder couldn’t be this beautiful!
Favorite recorder player 🥰
Absolutely delightful--you are a marvelous musician. And I'm amazed that you can play in a wind like that.

that's a wind instrument after all

Hola Lucie,
Gracias por compartir con nosotros tu arte y sensibilidad expresando la música
Marvelous nightingale. Truly lovely ❤
I think I’m in love! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
That sopranino, in the hands of a musician of Lucie's calibre, is anybody surprised at the awesomeness that follows?
Oh, how beautiful ☺️. I missed your videos.
This is beautiful. I love what you do.
Toca como ninguém. Um deleite para os ouvidos. A melhor flautista do mundo.
Absolutely beautiful! I really think the extended techniques you added help create imagery of a nightingale. Thank you for sharing!💞
beautiful like a bird.
Gracias

Nitpicking: not "Herr" which is German, but "mijnheer".

Ist doch fast dasselbe, mein Herr van Ooosterhout.
@@goryn9660 No.
I think it is the ivory-made one she has shown in a video with Sarah Jeffery: ruclips.net/video/KHnXIQvlk1Q/видео.html (the sopranino at time 8:15 ->)
I certainly hope it's not ivory.
Клёвая!

The woman's good at playing the recorder. She should become a profession performer.
Excuse me what?! She is one of the best performers!
Lmao
Lol she already is
Guys i was making a joke..
Should I even bother to write r/whooosh on comments below a classical music video? Will people get it?
Either way,
r/whooosh
wow
Nature :)
Nice done recorder gang.
Letterlijk top. :)
0:2 - 0:6 best part of the video
A consummate recorder player!
Epic moment 0:02 !!
👏👏👏👏❤️🇧🇷
Is that the ivory flute of yours? And even if it was the cheapest plastic one, your playing sounds great!
Your music good just like lord krishna music
for real I didn't know flutes require that many techniques until twoset was roasted
Hi beautiful!😍
i hope the next ling ling workout is with her
When will we start hearing things written by you?
Is no one gonna talk about that shot at 0:04
No one: there's no actual need. "Came for the music, stayed for the music".
Opening shot.... butt
No offense but I'd still enjoy listening to a violin than this...
