Thanks, mine fell out on the passenger's side, but there's also wires in the 2016 visor model. Honda repair center wanted $66 for the part and $34 for labor. We're going to tackle it ourselves using your video!
Thank you - I'm going to go after it now! Fingers crossed it's that locking tab for me too because I haven't been able to find that individual part... just $150 new visor.
Helpful video, thanks for posting. I had this problem and unsuccessfully tried to fix it. I hadn't seen your video though, and I ended up breaking the middle piece, the off-white yellowish part that you're sticking the screwdriver into. That whole thing cracked and broke. Any idea where I can buy a new mount, or will I need to buy a whole new visor with the entire mounting piece built onto it? And to make matters worse, the wiring for all the ceiling lights and visor mirror lights goes right through that mount piece. So whether I get a new mounting piece or a whole new visor, I will have to splice the wires, thread them through the mount, and reconnect them before I can put the visor on anyway. Total bummer. 2017 Honda Civic, if you've got any advice on replacement parts.
Same here, the small plastic key lock broke. So no way to repair it. I will need the whole sun visor.. $125 because of a defective piece of plastic about 3mm long.
❤❤ OMG YOU HELP ME FIX THISBIN 5 SECONDS I was struggling trying to fix this arms on fire from dealing w this 😂😂😂 that's it that all it took I FEEL SO STUPID 😂😂
Hi there, thanks for the video.. however, mine having a bit different problem than this. The base plastic that suppose to rotate now came off/out of alignment, and it is stucked. Any chance it could be fix? I try to press/force it back to the original position, but im struggled and worry it might break any internal plastic parts. Thanks dude.
I'm currently having a similar issue except that little plastic part broke and there is not a plastic replacement and I have to replace the entire unit, UGH.

I'm not really sure. You may want to ask your local Honda dealer.
How did you manage to fix it?
Is the Accord the same as the Civic?
I believe it is similar for the same manufacture year, (2013).
I'm currently having a similar issue except that little plastic part broke and there is not a plastic replacement and I have to replace the entire unit, UGH.
Yes, it is unfortunate that they do not sell the individual parts. 🤔
My problem is that flops a quarter of the way down. Really annoying. All my honda vehicles have had this problem. Any fix on that?
I'm not aware of a fix for that issue Juan. Sorry. :(
@@BudsSmartHome lol, all good. I just ignore it for now👍
What’s the name of the metal part that hold it in place?
I'm not sure what metal part to with your are referring?
The metal clip that hold it
