Lift Gate hitting top of Garage

  • The automatic lift gate on many large American vehicles is at risk of hitting the top of the garage ( or garage door). I found an easy and cheap solution to solve this problem and prevent any damage to the exterior paint finish.

    It's quite creative but read the owner's manual because you can adjust the height of the tailgate

    Did you have to use any kind of adhesive to keep them from falling off? This is exactly the solution I'm looking for!

      Great question! I originally thought that would be the case (adhesive or tape), but they actually just stay on by friction. They have been on there for over a year now.
