They really are. My personal opinion is that the east section of the campground is slightly better. However, if you’re going in the summer and it’s important to be by the pool, 52 would work. Either way, you’ll love it there! Thanks for checking in! Let us know how things go!
We agree completely, Lynn. Wears Valley was a great place to be to enjoy Great Smoky Mountain National Park while still being close to Pigeon Forge. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks Paula. It's really a unique campground, unlike most all of the other campgrounds in that area. If you like "different" (in a good way), it's the perfect spot. Thanks for watching!
@Major Quintana The sites at the lower level below the tree line are the ones you really want. They’re beautiful and you have unfettered views of the mountains. Good luck! I hope you “score”. Thanks for commenting. Let us know which one you booked.
Thank you so much for this video. It's awesome. I don't need to look any further for the Campground of choice when we go next year. Hard to choose a campsite so many nice ones if they let you pick. My kind of Campground! Thank you again this was so helpful. I wish I was going this year!
Great to hear, Lynn. It really is the best of the more remote campgrounds from the chaos of Pigeon Forge. If you like being out in the beauty of the Smokies, it’s perfect. But book your site as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the less of a selection you’ll have. Good luck!
Hi Dakota. If they didn’t show up in the video it was because the sites appeared to be “offline” or being used by the campground for other purposes. That area (in the 50s) had some strange configurations. But the advantage to that side of the park was the proximity to the pool and snack bar/front office. Hope this helps!
Michelle, you kicked off a major debate this morning about whether they did or didn’t have a bath house. Honestly, neither of us can recall ever using one while there, and if there had been one, we definitely would have used it. So no, I don’t believe they do. But it might be worth a phone call to them to confirm. Also, it was three years ago and they may have added one since. Hope this helps. -Leo
More campgrounds should do videos like this. Very helpful. Thanks you!
Love this video. You made me a subscriber ❤. About to book Honeysuckle meadows.
Thank you for a thorough walkthrough!
Thanks for watching, Richard! Hope it was helpful.
Thank you so much! Trying to decide on site 7 or 52 right now! All of them are beautiful sites :-)

We love this campground for its quiet and peaceful surroundings.

This is a great place. I'm here right now...
Despite the cool temps, you’re still the envy of us all. Hope you’re in a great site! Enjoy!
We booked site 30 but looks like it could be challenging to get in & out????
Can we rent for a mos to come & go we live other side tn?
Could rent a site for a tiny home year around
Did you show sites 52 and 55?
