Thank you for this straight to the point tutorial, I've tried several times to hotfix on glass or ceramic and they never stay, trying your method today, thanks
Beautiful glass and nice tutorial. However, would have been nice to see a piece of white paper towel or something inside glass to display how beautiful glass.
Hi Venita, the challenge is I had to wipe my laptop a few months ago and lost all my data including font I downloaded. I've been trying to find a program that can tell me the name of the font but the closest I came to it was a font called 'josephsophia'
Very nice and encouraging. I need to find an alternative until I lean to use my cricut.. Now I have a heat gun which comes with these white sticks of glue. Is that what you are using to get the rhinestones to stick?
Hey there, you could probably try Etsy as an alternative to see if you can get printed vinyls there. The Rhinestones comes with an adhesive so once heated it will hold.
Hi D, I used the heat gun as a test to show you that the Rhinestones with the built in adhesives an actual be used on the wine glass. It worked beautifully too. You can also use glue to do the application as well.

That came out so pretty! I always wanted to try this. I have 2 questions. Why did you use the heat gun? Will the glitter come off when it’s washed? Thank you can’t wait to watch your other videos.
Thank you Antonietta, I really appreciate your support. It's a very beautiful design, I used the heat gun to apply the Rhinestones. The glitter won't come off after washing because I sealed it with Mod podge at the end. You can use two coats of mod podge for extra protection.
So what it does is melts the glue adhesive that is already in the Rhinestones so it sticks to the glass. Check out this video that I'll share to see how these types of rhinestones work with the heat gun
Hey Peggy, here's a link to the vinyl amzn.to/3rGvSge and the personalized I used my Cricut Explorer Air cutting machine to create it. This is the link for the machine on Amazon amzn.to/3ypl8GY
Hi thanks for out my craft, I had to wipe my laptop and I lost the original font but you can try 'josephsophia' because it's a close match. Hope this was helpful.
Hey Mildred, thanks. Yes it can be, the vinyl is permanent and works great for glass surfaces. I also sealed the glitter with mod podge in the end and when it was fully dried and used UV coating glossy spray to give it and extra seal coat.
I was wondering how you were going to get the rhinestones on without glue being everywhere ... I tried doing a birthday glass and the cursive & glue almost took me out 😆 bvs
😂😂😂 Tasha you made my day. I know it can be a pain, I have some new products coming that I will be trying out. So look out for that new technique video.
I always have a problem with my glitter losing it's shine when I sile it with mod podge. I've even tried mod podge it with gloss and it doesn't the same thing. What can I do about it?
Hi Kelli, you are right it can appear to lose its shine a bit after using the mod podge. I'm planning to try the acrylic sealer after the mod podge has dried so I'll do an update video on it for you.
Craft Basics, do you apply a final layer of just Modge Podge after the layers of glitter and allow that to final clear layer of Modge Podge to dry before apply the ear spray?
Aliso el final de tu trabajo ya q con tu mano de fondo no se puede apreciar el trabajo una pena ya q es hermoso pero con un paño oscuro tal ves se apreciaba mejor
Hey Sonia, thanks for the feedback. I've started to show a final look at the end of my videos now as I realized that's a better way to display the final product.

Hi Kevin, glad this video was helpful for you 😀
You can also use mod podge prior to painting when working with foam to keep paint from being absorbed into pores.
I love that suggestion.... thank you 😊
ThAnks for making this beautiful glass and sharing I’m gonna do it myself thanks for the encouragement
You are most welcome D.... I'm glad this was helpful for you 😌. Thanks for your support 🙏

Great job thank you. Now can you dish wash this or how you seal it
Thank you 😊 🙏, the mod podge I used isn't dish washer friendly but there is another mod podge that you can use and it will be safe.

I have a question far as after you apply the decal can you trace the eyelids of the decal wit modge lodge to add glitter in that one area ok thanks 😘
Hey Lisa, yes if you are able to do it neat and clean with the mod podge you can definitely add the glitter
That’s a great idea!! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Beautiful love it
Thank you 😊

What tipe off glue did you used and the glitter
I used mod podge
I have put htv on wine glasses before so it is ok to do hotfix rhinestones wont hurt glass
How well did the HTV hold up on the wine glass for you, any issues after washing?
That is beautiful. Thanks for sharing
You are most welcome Tracy... glad you enjoyed
So, what else did you seal your black glitter with besides mod podge to make it washable? Thanks
Yes I have used the Krylon UV coat spray to seal as well.
Beautiful... what font is that?
Hey there, the challenge is I had to wipe my laptop a few months ago and lost all my data including font I downloaded. I've been trying to find a program that can tell me the name of the font but the closest I came to it was a font called 'josephsophia'
So sorry for the late reply. Hope you will try this one I suggested.

How did you do your decal step by step please?
I can do a video showing you how I do the steps for sure 👍
@@craftbasicsjs Thank You!
Hi I created a video showing the steps I use to make my decals ok. Click here ruclips.net/video/GIk6EExafoI/видео.html

There are some other interesting videos so you can check them out. 😉
Sorry for another question I’m new at this. Does the heat gun melt or soften the glass so the Rhinestones can stick ? No glue right?
So what it does is melts the glue adhesive that is already in the Rhinestones so it sticks to the glass. Check out this video that I'll share to see how these types of rhinestones work with the heat gun
ruclips.net/video/jQJ2lTIOvAY/видео.html watch this video and it shows you how it works
Love it!!
Thanks Kyla
Where do I get the vinyl n how do I do the personalized vinyl for my wine glass
Hey Peggy, here's a link to the vinyl amzn.to/3rGvSge and the personalized I used my Cricut Explorer Air cutting machine to create it. This is the link for the machine on Amazon amzn.to/3ypl8GY

Thank you 😊
I've found that if you paint the stem the color of glitter your applying..ONE COAT of glitter is great
Oh great suggestion... I'm going to try. How does it hold up after washing?
I sell with word of caution on washing. I don't know about washing n how they hold up. Just started making/selling them. Like your video's
Oh ok I see... I will definitely try though. Thanks again for the recommendation
That’s a great idea Judy!! Thanks for sharing! ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Love your Vinyl Eye Sticker. How can i get a copy ?
I found this one on Google.
I love this ❤. Do you use a sealant on the decal?
@donyelledespanie4317 Thank you 😊, no I didn't because vinyl usually holds up pretty well.
Where did u get that image from
Hi Tricia, I went on Google and looked for winked eyes png file version.
Beautiful 🥰❤️
Thanks Jadia 😊
Where do u get the labels to go on the glasses?
Hi Lydia, I print them myself using a cricut explorer 2 machine amzn.to/3Sia7ye. You can look at it on Amazon if you are interested in purchasing.
How do they call those stickers dear
Hi Prim, the stickers are called permanent vinyl.
How do the rhinestones hold up when washing?
Pretty well actually
Just not dishwasher safe
where can one get vinyl cutouts if you don't have a Cricut.
Hi, Etsy has vendors who sells designs and easy prints
Is beautiful but can the wine glass be Wash
Hey Mildred, thanks. Yes it can be, the vinyl is permanent and works great for glass surfaces. I also sealed the glitter with mod podge in the end and when it was fully dried and used UV coating glossy spray to give it and extra seal coat.
@@craftbasicsjs may I have the name
The name of UV coating glossy spray
The brand is Krylon
Thank you
when u placed the rhinestones with the stick, i didnt see u using glue, just the heat gun
Hey there, the rhinestones actually had adhesive on them already so the heat gun activated it and allow them to stick
what do you use to create the vinyl? i been researching how but every time i look it up it just pops up using a cricut.
Hey, I use cricut to cut my vinyls but there are other vinyl cutting machines out there like silhouette and some others.

Yes just one final layer of Mod podge. Allow it to dry properly before spraying. At least a few days.
You can also seal the glitter with UV or epoxy resin. This will leave a brilliant shine!! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
