    Hi Danny, just wondering why you leave a piece after making the perfection knot on you 49-strand? Any particular reason for that?
    Great info, I use the same setup but use a melt knot instead with shrink tube applied where I cut the wire.

      On the Fluro it’s in case of slippage and the wire it’s just habit

      @@dannyparkins7396 Thanks for the info! I use zap-a-gap on the fluorocarbon, some use ‘knot-sense’ UV resin to make it slide better through the rod guides. Love to learn and see how everyone has their own approach. 🤘

      @@dirkvannieuwenhove I never have any knots going through the guides, I like to keep it bare minimum to ensure as little issues to fail. The simple loop to loops are just so easy and once your out it’s a quick fix

      @@dannyparkins7396 so true, I carry a small plastic bag filled with leaders, traces, wiggle tails, cone heads, … you name it and stuff it in my stripping basket. That and a few flies and I’m ready to fish!

      that's the connecting leader from fly line to the wire bite leader
