First off, I need to say thank you for all the great fishing and tying videos! I really enjoy watching them, even the one's spoken in (I think Swedish?)! Could you tell me how you're making the bite tippet? What material, what kind of knots, how you connect to the fly? A video would be GREAT! Thanks again!
Super helpful and practical, thank you!
En otroligt bra video! Perfekt nu i samband med nya gäddflugan! :D
Great tips - Thank You!
This video shows you how to make half of the leader. When do we get part two?
More pike fly fishing to the people! /Bauer Fan
hey Nick do you prep wire for every fly you have? in stead of cutting and re tying?
How did you tie the streamer on?
nice rod what weight is it?
I would think the weight of the streamer would turn over the line regardless. I dont see the point of the taper. We aren't talking about dry flies here.
How do you toe the loop in the wire???
can you show how to make the actual steel leader?? thank you.
The Conquer New Mexico Project there is a video but its just partridge 49 strand knottable leader wire melted around rig hook n big loop in end to pass tube through 😀
Oliver Wilkinson thanks a lot for the info. Ill try that. 👍
Pike teeth can easily cut through nylon. I would never, ever fish for pike without a section of wire - about 25cm - attached to the nylon.
+Mark Williams i use a system like this .
line - WF9F then - 1 meter 25Lb mono , Pafex Knotable Titanium 30 cm - berkeley Easy clip size 7 or 10 then the fly .
never had one break free . from 1/2 Kg to 7 Kg .. works for me .
Cheers
At 2:18 he says wire .
0:40 😂
