I bought the Boling P1 back when they made a video of it. The mounting bracket is really nice and it's a very sturdy light but I wish I had held off to buy this F7. For the same price point you get a grid and diffuser designed for it and the P1 only goes up to 8500K while this bumps up to 9K
Yeah we had to substitute one of them out while filming. I think both models are produced by the same parent company. The article about to go live compares the two lights more than this video does -P
Bowling P1 -- Yep I thought the same thing. I have two of those (P1) but I'm digging the add on grid box. Wonder if you can get that separately. looking forward to the comparison video.
Like a Man on Fire it’s not a comparison video but just an article. Both of these lights are 95% exactly the same. I like the Boling P1’s built in articulating arm better but I like the F7’s size and accessories better. We have both (I just did the Vlogger review a few mo the ago) but I’d prob get more F7s just for the grids. -P
THANK YOU! I thought exactly the same and I was wondering, why nobody - really nobody talks about this. I compared the F7 to my Aputure LEDs and the F7 has a terrible green cast in the whites, so I am returning it.
Awesome job on this review guys have reviewed this light on my channel as well and was very impressed with it. I think you're right though to get the most out of it it's good to have more than one to mix up the colors.
I wish I he said what camera settings were used. Not sure how powerful these lights are but I'd assume you'd have to use a slower shutter speed compared to that of a strobe
Kepano 808 check out the article in the description. Basically they are 95% exactly the same but I like the mounting bracket better on the Boling but like the size and accessories better on the Falcon Eyes. I’d buy more Falcon Eyes if I had to choose. -P
Good work on this one Patrick. I'm a big fan of pocket LEDs (the most popular vid on my channel compared 4 of them) and a SUPER fan of these rgb ones. I was really impressed by your beauty look. I never thought of putting one of those in a full on softbox like that. What iso was your camera at and what lens were you using?
Great video! I'm thinking of picking up either these, or the atomcube rx1. I was curious though, what softbox did you use in the butterfly lighting (2nd) example?
Yeah you can fine tune it how you want. The magenta color was set to a very low saturation (so almost white) but even then the magenta color bleeds through pretty strongly. -P
@@FStoppers yeah like a small studio for singing and recording songs while making a RUclips vidoe of it. So the lighting of the room and arrangement like sound panels and stuff.
You can really say that it is advertisement, people won’t blame you for earning something to work. Better than hiding it. However, “cheap”, 139$ for some leds. Yeah, okay.
Cheap in the realm of photo and video gear. Just 5 years ago you couldn't buy an led light for less than $130 and it wasn't even bi color let along rgb. Most pro lights for video are nearly $1000. -P
That second light setup was actually gorgeous.
This is the quality content that I subscribed to this channel for - well done!
You subscribed for the commercials?
nice sales pitch, great tips on lighting
That's so cool!!I was just setting up my youtube studio and I am really confused with the lighting!Very helpful video! Thanks so much!
I admit.... I may not need this light, but plan on rethinking lighting setups on the go using them. They are nifty.
Superb keep it up Anna..
I've been thinking of getting 2 of these in the last few days, but am still comparing them to the ANDYCINE Boling P1

Those are some good lights for their size! Seems like a great bang-for your-buck kinda light! Thank you for the video!
Brilliant! Thank you! 😄
BTW you guys have me thinking of moving to Puerto Rico when I "retire" (relaxed hustle).
Okay, can't fool me. One of those light is the Bowling P1 :) I really need to buy the Falcon Eyez. Great vid!
Yeah we had to substitute one of them out while filming. I think both models are produced by the same parent company. The article about to go live compares the two lights more than this video does -P
Fstoppers where can I see that comparison?
@@MrBaptista It will be on the Fstoppers website soon and I'll link it in the description. -P

Awesome video Patrick! Make more videos like this one! 🙌
Nice review Patrick, thanks.
You've sold me! 'Just ordered two. Hope you get a bit back in return. Thanks for the wonderful video!
at 2:48 I saw that Boling switch! ;) Gotta keep sponsor happy!
Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing.
Very helpful, with great tips!
that's so cool thank you so much
I think you have a different version of cheap than I do.
what do you mean "not sponsored by falcon eyz", this whole thing was a tasteful Ad (but Ad non the less).
Periklis Pld My guess is that he paid for them himself. That makes him not sponsored.
Making money off affiliate links?!
Thanks for sharing!
I liked the look of first setup in the video
Nice ad!
How are these now that it’s been a few years? Do they stand the test of time? Or did you have to replace them after so long?
Just got one of these, but it shows very heavy green hue at daylight. Does it happen to anybody else?
THANK YOU! I thought exactly the same and I was wondering, why nobody - really nobody talks about this. I compared the F7 to my Aputure LEDs and the F7 has a terrible green cast in the whites, so I am returning it.
Great tips Patrick! :-)
"Cheap"
i hope this is available in the Philippines

Great video. What is the softbox you use in the video on the F7?
It would be nice if you could control them from your phone
I wish I he said what camera settings were used. Not sure how powerful these lights are but I'd assume you'd have to use a slower shutter speed compared to that of a strobe
This is cool,
I have and love the Boling P1s, I'll have to try these F7s too. Will the F7 accessories fit on the P1s?
Tinderbox not quite. They F7 Light is a little bigger and so the P1 light will not be snug inside the modifiers which is a bummer . -P
loved it. What camera did you use?? and lese
How does this compare to the Boling BL-P1 that most one real popular RUclipsr recommends?
Kepano 808 check out the article in the description. Basically they are 95% exactly the same but I like the mounting bracket better on the Boling but like the size and accessories better on the Falcon Eyes. I’d buy more Falcon Eyes if I had to choose. -P
Is it a good idea to use it as a lightpad for DSLR film negative "scanning"?🤔
NICE! TFS!
Aaaaah.... I miss Patrick’s reviews and tips.
What softbox did you use?
thanks

Steve VanSickle we used this pop up softbox: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1476198-REG/fiilex_flxa093_matrix_pop_up_softbox.html
@@FStoppers Did you use the small light in it? how did you fit the light there? cheers!
I'd do the first setup, but with the key set to white instead of magenta.
Yeah you can fine tune it how you want. The magenta color was set to a very low saturation (so almost white) but even then the magenta color bleeds through pretty strongly. -P
What tripod do these light fit on
Why is that display UI look like my brand new VIJIM VL196 RGB LED 9000k. That only cost $59 and I can buy 2 of VIJIM VL196 instead Falcon Eyes.
Do you like this light better than the Boling P1?
Nate's Escape article in the description. -P
Falcon or andycine???
wow
But the new Aputure Amaran MC is $80...
@HELLOBYE no way, the MC is way smaller and the f7 gets about twice as bright
Twentybag is here
I commented 8th and I would love to see you setup a room for youtube singing
Bibijan Noormohammed singing?

3 cheap led light?? Woww really that cheap?
Anyone seeing this, I got basically the same lights on Amazon for $30 each. Don’t gotta pay that much.
Kelvin* not Kelvins I think
Wow that was a poor sponsored video🤤
In aliexpress you can find this rgb lights under 60$
ceres show but it prob takes 3 months to ship to the US and who knows how long it could get locked up in customs. -P
