- I recently paid ~$120 for over 75 untested phones from Goodwill... and oh boy, people leave so much stuff on their old phones. You won't believe what I found on some of these... 😳

Y’all need to reset yo phones before selling but make sure to remove google and or Apple ID because it will lock it if not done otherwise

11:52 The reason you can’t touch anything is because that iPhone has a factory issue called “Touch IC” it’s pretty common on the iPhone 6 series and causes that screen flash at the top, it only can only be fixed with soldering on the logic board, a screen replacement won’t fix it.
thanks for the info, and that's unfortunate - I just looked up a repair video on the issue and I definitely do not have the soldering skills to successful do that 😂

One random nerd thing, android phones have an emergency alert history (almost ALL android phones) so you can probably look to see the random weather alerts people have gotten and where the phone was used.
It would be cool to see this series done with laptops and desktop computers
We've thought about it, and we might do something similar with laptops and/or desktops one day, but they just take up so much more space and are more expensive than a huge lot of phones

Wild how unique phones used to be compared to now.
There's one flipphone, the Samsung W2019 (android of course, also a full size screen on the front), that was only ever sold in china & still costs a bit. So i had to import one here to australia, a Rose Gold one. Had to manually put Google Play services on it since those aren't on them normally, and have been using mine for 4 months as my primary phone, and is a pretty nice one. Not your ordinary flip phone for sure.
For the phones with passwords you can run some sort of program that will try all the different phone password combos I don't know how to do this you could look up a tutorial

Fun fact: if your lucky enough, you can hard reset the phone using the recovery menu by either pressing both vol + and power button, it could be different tho, if it doesnt have frp, you could probably and possibly be able to use it

so about the locked phones you can use a keylogger to get in the phones if i remember correctly you use Linux terminal and hook it up to a phone and it will test out all the combinations to unlock the phone it basically bypasses the "try x minutes later" thing

I don't use a Flip phone BUT I do use a T9 keyboard on my Moto Stylus for nostalgia. Had it for a month or so and I just now gotten back used to it lol

About the Nokia, the headset is used as fm antenna.
S4 had an 1080p screen so it was impressive for 2013.

I physically cringed when I saw that 6 plus, that ain’t the screen that’s touch disease, it’s to do with bending on the board’s IC chips, look it up for more info, but otherwise, RIP 🪦

Old tracfone cellphones only will allow you to use the phone if you have the original sim card that came with the phone, so buying a sim for the LG 440G would be futile because its useless without its original sim card. It's a really stupid rule.

Worked in a trade in factory for smartphones. I have stories for days of things I found on phones and things other human being should never see. SSN #'s ,credit cards. One time we had a paramedics phone and I'll leave it at that. They would come in unlocked because they had to have the passcode removed in order to trade them in. Whoever transferred the data from the old phone to the new one never wipe them

So i can say. If the phone shows little to no use. Like within a short amount of years. It could be possible that they person who originally owned the phone passed away and it was put in a drawer. I only know this because of my experiences with data recovery

Buying a Tracfone SIM won't work. Old Tracfone phones like that specifically require the SIM that came with the phone.
Your incorrect. It just needs a TracFone sim to boot so he can look through it but needs one to be married to be actually use it which is now impossible since TracFone was bought out by Verizon.
I bought one for $1, so I’ll try it out in the next video and see what happens. Yeah I’m just trying to explore the phone, I don’t actually want to get functioning cell service

By the way old iphones can get unlimited passcode attempts and be bruteforced. As long as you dont reset they can be icloud bypassed too
LG phones are the most innovative ones in the mobile industry
I had the LG velvet the last phone they ever made. Beautiful phone. I loved everything about it, but after a couple of months the mic stopped working. So I had to return it. I'm still a little sad about that, but have a OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G now, and it runs great. Not as beautiful as the LG though.
