Matt Moscona reacts to the Saints 2024 schedule. Who will the Saints play and when will they play them. Which week does the bye fall? Where are the cold games and what games are in primetime. We also react to Sean Payton's return to New Orleans and Derek Carr facing off against his old team.

I don't mind this schedule. 9 (actual) home games, this season.
The first 4 games are going to be a test, for this new offensive scheme.
BUT, if they win the first four, they are, definitely, looking at a very real 10 or 11 wins season.
It's great that they have the Panthers in week one, to work out some flaws, in a full speed game, after they've figured some things out in preseason.
I will say it.... I think they are getting a 4 win start, and shocking everyone.
Really just need to go 2-2, then inevitable the loss to KC. 2-3 with 6 easily winnable games after that. 8-3 entering the BYE. Just need to go 3-3 to end the season. 11-6 wins the division.
Can’t trust this team to win but can’t say they can’t shock the nfl🤷🏾♂️

I hope you're right. One of Carr main critiques is that he struggles with new schemes in the first year. Let's hope that's not the case this time.

If they can get, and stick to, a strong running offense, it will be a good deal of help, to get Carr in the right position to make big plays.

I don't have much confidence in the offense. This could be an ugly year and possibly worse than last year. I hope I'm wrong but It really doesn't look good right now.

Its a challenging schedule but i think if the Saints can be decent at offense we can go into the bye 7-4 or 8-3. We can beat Dallas and even squeak out against the Eagles. Atlanta will always bother me and the Chiefs have armed their offense. 4-5 wins last season and the conversation would be different. But its all on Dennis and Derek. No excuses

I don't see how this qualifies as an EASY schedule. My Hope Is that with Kubiak now running the offense that DA can focus even more on the defense. That might be the only thing that saves the season.

But Watson is completely shit. After he stopped getting his Houston Happy Endings he has looked like a bottom 10 QB.
You can’t automatically say 1-2 lol yes it’s going to be tough but you’d rather play Dallas and Philly early when you can maybe catch them off guard and get a surprise win
I think you’d rather play Dallas & Philly later in the season when they start to choke games away.

And Dallas you want to get early because Dak tends to at least in terms of the regular season looks good by mid season
As a Saints fan, im just curious about us playing down to the level of competition!! For example, I know the Panthers might be the worst team in the league again, but what if they shock everybody and come into the Dome Week 1 and beat us??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yall got to remember this team has a different offense coordinator that is actually an offensive coordinator. Not the one from last year who was a complete idiot. So dont judge that schedule as if pete Carmichael was there. We can be 5-2 after 7 games but with dereck carr i dont think he will follow the offense and will try and do his own thing so well be 2-5 soencer will be our starter nezt yeal

We're getting demolished this year. The only thing I can hope is we get a top 5 draft pick. We're gonna split with the Falcons and Bucs, sweep the panthers and maybe get a win from NY and Washington. Everyone else is gonna win. I can just feel it. 7-8 wins tops depending on how good the Raiders and Broncos are at that stage of the year
