They have fantastic chemistry and I think they might regret not ever taking the risk on each other. That's if they never did. Gillian said they never dated, but maybe they had a private thing who knows? For a while it seemed like they could have. That said, it's not our business, but they still make a beautiful couple. However, if being together was not what they wanted, then, that's up to them. Gillian is in a long term relationship and she has said she is happy with Peter Morgan, so I wish that she is. It was probably not meant to be with David and Gillian. They both have children and Gillian has children in separate country to David. Her sons need access to their father as David's kids needed to be able to be with their mother and I feel that having a relationship between London, New York and LA wouldn't be practical for them. Their children are clearly going to be their first priority and it just wouldn't work with them living in two different places. It's a shame, but it's the right thing not to embark on things that are impossible or will probably result in more heartache. I don't think there'll be anymore "The X Files", but we'll always carry our fond memories of Mulder and Scully, David and Gillian and their chemistry. Maybe one day we will get to enjoy them reunite at a Comic Con or an interview or similar. I wish them both love and happiness. I truly hope they both find true love even if I love to see them together. It was just not meant to be in my view.
