6:06 The books from the box were actually meant to be thrown in a portal. Basically, the Infinite Dimensions update added a feature where you could throw books into a nether portal, and the game would use some kind of system to make a special dimension which has generation that varies with whatever text is inside the book. So basically the Box of Infinite Books is meant to make unique dimensions.

Special education blocks are available in Minecraft bedrock, no? There is a option called “Education edition” when creating a world. Also the nether portal block WAS NOT REMOVED. There is a special way you can get it by making a nether portal that turned on and off very quickly, then you could mine the portal and get a portal block. You can’t get it with commands. This exploit even works in PE edition.

The ”zone” block seems to be a reference to the game franchise S.T.A.L.K.E.R and/or the book Roadside Picnic, as both of these have invisible anomalous and deadly pockets of air in which gravity works differently. The characters in both the games and the book get around these by tossing small pieces of metal scrap infront of them before they go forward, and seeing if they fall to the ground faster/slower than normal.
I wish Mojang didn't remove the idea of furniture. I really wanted it!
Fun fact: the original stonecutter wasn't removed from bedrock. If you placed it in your bedrock edition world before it was removed, it was still in the game. It doesn't show in the creative menu and it isn't obtainable by commands.
Did it turn into the new stone cutter or is it just gone?
It was its own block, separate from the new stonecutter. If placed before it was replaced with the new stonecutter, it would still be there with the original texture.

Heat Block wasnt removed, its still available on bedrock edition. When you turn on the education edition, you can get access to exclusive blocks like sparklers, hardened glass, glow sticks and heat block. The block cant be get from your inventroy, tho, you need to craft it.

Turns out the calibrated skulk sensor wasn't removed, it just took a while to be implemented. It's coming in 1.20!
10:19 those biomes are still planned for future updates, the biome vote only determines the one they will work on first, unlike the mob votes.
I want to see colored wood in Minecraft now, it would make for interesting builds.
The swamp from the biome vote is the theme of 1.19.

They removed it because of the cliffs not generating properly because of it, but it could be fixed, and it would be easy compared to what is being added now. A simple line of code telling the game to only add them if the height changes by exactly 1 block.

"Removed" nether core and other bedrock exclusive blocks also don't get removed, they still in the game, and and don't get replaced by "update" block
@Expelly did you ever heard of nbt editor? ID of this thing is 247. It's also obtainable trough loading a pre 0.12 world with reactors placed

@@archivushka but still it is removed because the only way to obtain it is to use an NBT editor the word removed in this video is blocks that cannot be obtained using normal way(in the current version using commands or in your inventory) but still the blocks in education edition can be counted as not removed

There was one world of mine where I had a machine that relied on pistons, but at some point one of the pistons stopped working, so I replaced it, but it still didnt do anything. There was this empty block in front of the piston that just could not be altered, for months. An update came around, and in place of that untouchable block void, there was a dirt block with update scribbled on it.
That’s the update block, a block THST appears in bedrock and pocket when you place a block but an update remove that bock

I believe that debug2's texture is meant for testing if rendering is working properly. The symbols look like rotated cardinal directions (north East south west). Each letter is probably right way up when looking in the corresponding direction and at the top of the block.

I agree! I've played a number of different mods and modpacks that had it for various reasons, and I love it. So useful!
As someone who played pocket edition religiously as a kid, the nether reactor core and the old stone cutter gave me such strong nostalgia!

Some of the items in this list were never removed just in other games (some were even not made by them)

As a pocket edition player I can confirm that they didn’t remove the update blocks, instead they just show up less

I know what the block did.
The block used to locate the nearest wardens in a 32 block radius. When placed under a note block, it made the sound of every sound in minecraft, which was gamebreaking. The block used to be crafted with a sensor, an amethyst, and a barrier block.
It had a light level of 0.4873733333 which was the smallest light level.

The update blocks on my pocket edition world would duplicate blocks when clicked on. But you would right click then break it and it would give you multiple more diamonds or whatever block you clicked. It was crazy at the time and I didn’t know what it was.
Why do I suspect that “Mojang banned” was really “Notch banned” and they’re just too apathetic to bother changing things after he’s left?
Post ms mojang has a rule book on what can be added to minecraft, which most likely disallows this

Speaking of the purple and black cubes, when I made a world at my cousin’s house, the entire world were those blocks, grass was green and black, and everything was black and purple.
I didn’t spawn any entities, and when I loaded it back it was normal

Home blocks are basically a portable version of the /home command in minecraft servers
10:04 This is misinformation. The blocks didn't get "cancelled", they're still coming to the game, just at an unspecified future time. Swamps are being upated next year, followed by Savannahs, Deserts, and Badlands, all with the features promised. They're even all still "announced" on the Feedback website.

7:23 the underwater torches can be made in bedrock by going into the world settings and turning on "education edition". Once that's happened, you can then craft the underwater torches, in the main game. But only in bedrock.
I think the calibrated sculk-sensor would only react to a specific sound it's calibrated to. But that would have made them too op so probably that's why Mojang removed it
Honestly, 50 Removed Blocks are the most ones to find in any version like what? So many dimensions removed and removed biomes even removed structures but this, they might be back today
