Silverfish in Minecraft are not real creatures, but fantasy creatures with entirely fantasy abilities not found in reality, simply sharing a name with a real animal. Might as well say Minecraft's redstone is real because Sumner Redstone is real.
Vertical slabs would be amazing for parkour.

The redwood forest may actually not be entirely gone yet, because, in pocket edition/ Bedrock edition, there is a biome called “redwood_taiga_mutated” and “redwood_taiga_hills_mutated”

Spiders are technically a neutral non because they will not attack you in the day if not attacked first. Silverfish in game are not very similar to silverfish in real life and are a small part of the game.

It wouldve been so nice if bluestone actually existed. They dont even have to reinvent redstone, but could have added it so you can run multiple red(or blue)stone connections directly next to each other without them connecting.
There should be tan wool, more shades of concrete, and jungle treehouses. That would be a good update 🤓

The Fungi-Villagers would’ve definitely been something! I wish they committed to many of these ideas, rather then going for ‘What’s easy, giving hopes up for last minute removal’ for the most part - unless it’s pretty complexed coding, then I could understand, serious circumstances ✨

Minecraft is almost pure sandbox, different games, even though they're similar and acknoweldged each other
Another cool feature that was scrapped were the Red Dragons. Basically, Notch wanted there to be a smaller, peaceful dragon mob in the Overworld to contrast the Ender Dragon. They were to be tameable and rideable, but Notch left the company before they made any headway on the idea
There is a time traveler that i use in survival:before doing something dangerous just copy your world so if you die in the originl one you can get to the copy.

Barely a day goes by that my creativity isn't inhibited by the *lack* of vertical slabs 🙄🙄🙄
I think the deeper reason here is that the purpose of slabs and stairs is originally just to travel up blocks without constantly jumping. The fact that they are great for decorating is just a bonus. I like the Idea of vertical slabs too, but from the perspective of mojang: what would thier purpose be? They would just be smaller blocks. Nothing else. And then why not quarter blocks? It just goes on from there.

There are some good bed designs, look it up.
Look up some kitchen furniture design and how any of the furniture single blocks does it all requieres more creativity than working with limitations.
Secret passages.... Watch youtuber Mumbo jumbo, there is video where he builds hidden bunker inside hidden bunker inside hidden bunker and then say again that current state of minecraft doesnt allow you to be creative and make hidden passages.

Or a skinny retaining wall with a stone texture? Or a shallow indent in a cliff or a wall? Or a railing you can jump over that isn't glass or the incredibly specific trapdoor textures?

I feel like it was silly to not add the miner hat because it's "too modern" and not even because we can compare it to Redstone. But we could use a torch tied to the hat instead. It would be made out of a iron helmet, string, and a torch

@@SavageJarJar Iron farms aren't really a problem in my opinion. They don't affect players unless they are specifically trying to build one. Also they don't take advantage of any glitches. I get that they are kind of OP, but iron is kind of useless late game and the farms are a pain to build and move the villagers.

1. Multiplayer. If someone in Multiplayer makes an iron farm, it can potentially effect everyone.
2. The iron ingot has the most crafting recipes in the game. It can be used for minecart rails, anvils, and a lot of other stuff.

C'mon, we've been begging for sideways slabs for soooo long :(
I think that they would be terrible to use. Imagine, your tiling your floor and you try to place a horizontal half slab but you place it on the side of a block and it ends up being vertical, that would be so frustrating.
That's just developer pride at this point. How can something that will give you more options will limit your creativity? Imagine what we can build with vertical slabs and if we get the option to overlap different slabs. I do want to have a house that has different walls on adjacent rooms and different ceilings from the floor above it without building a house so huge that I look like an insect inside it. I know there are carpets, but a nice wood floor will look great over a concrete ceiling. The same with furniture. You can be creative, but the chairs and tables are too big and they don't look practical at all. Terraria did not shy away from adding furniture and painting and people can get even more creative because of that. Not adding some requested elements is what is limiting the creativity instead because we have to stuck with the same designs from the beta version in many cases because there aren't many new options besides colors and a few small improvements.
If mojang add vertical half slab , they might as well add a quarter half slab , or microblocks .

I think that not adding different types of saddles made of different materials is kinda a good idea, I mean it would look cool and maybe add protection to the horse, but in real life that would probably be uncomftrable for both the rider and horse. Or at least heavy.

i think paint should be added so you can paint certain sides of the wall and we already have dye so why cant we just mix a little paint with stuff like dye, clay and a water bucket to get a bucket of paint. (i say clay since it will need something not liquid in the mix to make it stick) and then make it the first placeable bucket and give us a paint brush but the durability bare just tells us when the paint on out brush dries so we need to apply layers to the wall.
Well, hardhat could be used to prevent players from suffocating in sand or gravel... Just a suggestion

Mojang really need to drop this "We want [X] thing to be unique" ideology.
I personally think having Copper, Emerald, or even Amethyst tools and weaponry would be a cool addition and would add more uniqueness with being able to have decent armor as your favourite color.
Actually coper, emerald or amethyst weapons would be just either reduntand (the same as some other material) or pointless (as unecessery middle tier - as such addition would be of any use only for new world and ONLY for a limited time). It is far BETTER to give some unique usability to other things than just being dublicates... Actually being currency for trade is enough for emerald.
Copper and Amethyst have to little usability but... adding tools and armor made with them wouldn't change that at all.
But there are many other ways, including improving golden toors in smithing table with copper to rose gold. Which would have speed of gold (50% bigger than diamond and 33% than netherite) or maybe just a little more (1 point), durability about as much as iron and ability to break all blocks iron can. This way not only gold tools will be no longer actually useless, but also copper would get some valuable usage. Which wouldn't exactly be nullified even after getting netherite.
Amethyst spear or sword would make sense but armour would be strange.

(And even excluding that beyond horribble durability making them as good as netherite would mean they will be pointless dublicates) That's why we need rose gold - to finally make golden tools useful. Amethyst tools as You propose them would only again create the same issue.
Amethyst spear - a new, completely unique kind of weapon - on the other hand seems to be a good idea. But it should be definitely more duravle that golden ones. At least about stone ones level of durability.

Also now You are saying it would basically be worse trident... which wouldn't make much sense too. Well at least if that would be the whole story but if instead it would have different enchantment (like the ones for regular sword(sharpness, smite, perhaps fire aspect, and maybe even swipping edge...) + some unique ones perhaps) that could work.
Also how would it be crafted? I mean sure the amethyst but beside it? Two sticks diagonally (with amethyst shard on top) or something else?

That alternate reality under the bedrock you made reminds me of Minecraft story mode season 2, where there’s an entire hell prison under the bedrock, as well as a warped forest type area even before those were added.

My idea for sharks is that they are not hostile to player unless attacked, but attack fish and guardians
If you feed one fish it will follow the player and give them strength 1 and haste 1 (Shark's Ferocity) so long as you're within a certain distance of the friendly shark, you're in water, and so long as the shark is alive. This could make killing drowned and clearing ocean monuments easier, while also making a fish farm possible.
This would make it a neutral mob like the polar bear.
So by this list: Mojang thinks sharks are murder-torpedoes with a deep-seated desire for human flesh. Or else they think that making *polar bears,* who are MORE aggressive than sharks, neutral is perfectly fine, while making *sharks* neutral is too far.

It's a bit inconsistent to add one IRL animal you have to be cautious to give some distance (y'know, along with spiders and silverfish ALREADY being hostile mobs from IRL, which especially for spiders probably isn't doing wonders for their AWFUL P.R., and the upcoming fireflies which directly assault your graphics card because for some reason making them entities makes sense with how many of them there are) and refuse to add a generally pretty docile (IRL, towards humans) one because making what shouldn't even be hostile hostile damages their recovering reputation.

I personally really believe that Biomes o’ Plenty should just be part of Vanilla minecraft. It would seriously reward exploration and give you so much more fun and interesting things to do.

I feel like Biomes O' Plenty and Alex's mobs should be added in some update (with some adjustments to Alex's mobs e.g. crocs will only attack when you're 15 blocks within their swamp and 2-5 blocks away from them when not near any water source and improve taming mechanics like gainingtrust instead of feeding) because they are the ultimate exploration combo for minecraft

Vertical slabs is the most logical and practical thing to add on this entire list.

Nah, I'm against Vertical Slabs. We have trapdoors, use that instead. If you can't build without vertical slab, then you probably lack creativity. Adding vertical the game will add more bugs, glitches and some some visual problems. Rather have the current way of building we have nke than that.
Vertical slabs and EVERY type of Prismarine having a wall type would be great.
Imagine all the stuff that could be made, so many creative things!

I think there's a way to have Shulkers on your side, so that's probably why we don't have levitation potions or levitation arrows. Also the Shulkers themselves already did enough hurt.

I've never understood how vertical slabs "inhibit creativity". If anything, adding vertical slabs would introduce a whole slew of new possibilities for builds.
I've also had an idea for an iron wire item that would be used to craft chain armor (since chainmail is made by twisting iron wire in real life). It would be crafted using 3 iron nuggets. The main reason I want this is because the difficulty of finding chain armor makes it effectively pointless since by the time you finally find some, you'll probably already have stronger armor.

To me it's more like a colection item, so u can find a whole set from loot then make armor stands to display it. Or if you stumble in a dungeon and get lucky on your first few days

The reason to that there was Bluestone in the Village & Pillage trailer is that Mojang doesn’t even animate their own trailers. They just pay for someone to do it, and Bluestone is similar to The Green Axolotl. So they didn’t actually accidentally animate it.

I totally can’t disagree to mojang denying furniture into the game. The process of making new innovative ways of making our own furniture is just far better than placing a readymade couch.
They could add more small items because the furniture we can make always has to be kind of disproportionate.

Notch didn't have any idea how to program a feature like that, and mojang seems to be focused on things that *actually matter* rather than just quality of life improvements
