Winnipeg police respond to shooting in north end residence

Winnipeg police respond to shooting call at residence in the 400 block of Redwood ave:
Shortly after 10:30 pm Wednesday evening, Winnipeg police responded to a residence in the 400 block of redwood ave for reports of a shooting.
Police arrived and found a victim with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical treatment was provided until medical personal arrived on scene.
Medical personnel transported the victim to hospital unstable condition.
Police have taped off a home in the area of redwood ave and powers st while they investigate the incident
The name or sex of the individual has not been released. More Information to come once available.
