I purchased the ($39.99) Backupper app for Win 11 pro. I'm having trouble cloning ENTIRE 500GB kingston m.2 ssd (SYSTEM/Operating System and all data) to a 512GB HP m.2 ssd. AFTER CLONING, UPGRADED HP SSD WILL NOT BOOT (Beelink SER-4 mini PC). Will someone please help me???

Didn't work for me. Tried using aomei partition assistant as well as following your steps in aomei back up. Both bring me to a blue screen that says a device was not found.
You are lying about your software free it is not free you trick people thinking that the free version will cloan their hard drive but after you start cloan your hard drive you make people buy a professional version to complete their cloaning, that's a rip-off, shame on you for lying to people.
PAID version or FREE version it depends on the environment, it is FREE for MBR disk so you will see we use the free version to clone MBR disk, but at the same time, we also use the paid version to clone GPT disk. I just used your software to clone my Sata SSD to Nvme SSD, hoping to run Windows 10 on my much faster Nvme. Under BIOS settings, when I assign the new nvme as the boot device, I get a black screen and my computer never boots. Any idea what might be causing the issue?
Hi dear, are both disks gpt disks, and did you clone the disk by connecting to the destination disk through the motherboard or USB? When cloning, you must also start from the source disk for cloning.
I have the pro version of AOMEI Backupper, and i have constant problems with cloning gpt hdd's from Acer and HP Laptops. They appear to clone properly, but will never boot. I can install an blank ssd then install windows 10 without any problems, but cloned disks always report errors and will not boot.

Same issue with HP laptop. Cloned hard drive to ssd but won't boot with ssd. No hard drive error. Tried to reinstall original hard drive and now it doesn't work or boot either.
Problem is, the AOMEI clone is showing the amount of data to be less then the source disk. Have tried system clone AND sector by sector copying, but the results are the same- it missed copying something, many gigs of something, and the disk is not bootable. Have tried wiping the disk and recloning. Both source and clone are MBR. Bios is set to auto- looks for either MBR or GPT. Clone is showing up in Bios, it is #1 on the boot order, but it just boots to a blank screen and flashing cursor.
@@drrobotsir Here's the bottom line, Don't bother with these videos as 9/10 its just not going to work. Simply reinstall windows using usb or DVD as I had to endure this for 20 hours straight and its just not worth it as in that time I could have saved all files to a usb and just freshly installed windows and download everything back.

My bios has no option for UEFI to Legacy. It doesn’t have a boot tab. I can only change boot order, which was already correct. Its a HP compaq 4000 pro sff refurbished for windows 10.
The part about entering the 4 commands in order in this video…even in the video shows “Total Windows Installations: 0” but says NOTHING about how to correct it if you KNOW there is one.

@@AOMEITech Ok. So I figured out what was wrong. I originally used the free version to clone the disk and did not convert to GPT. Once I learned about GPT, I then purchased the full version so I could then convert and merge the unallocated partition. This apparently was causing problems because once I wiped the disk clean, converted to GPT and edited the partitions *prior* to cloning there were absolutely no issues with boot. Just had to select UEFI in the boot options and it was good to go. Thanks for responding before.
Yep no nothing worked still, getting put media drive in and press any key and nothing is happening or I get windows 10 not working so starting automatic repairs
I've been trying to clolne my Sata SSD into a new Nvme ssd, before cloning acronis says "Warning! After operation completion, operating systems will not boot from the destination disk in BIOS." And after cloning it's unbootable
I cloned my hhd to a M2 ssd. Set my boot order in the bios so the M2 is at the top, but still windows booted in to the hhd. From there I went to recovery and advanced startup and selected the SSD and it boot it with no issues. But if I restart it goes back to the hhd. So I booted into the SSD and formated the hhd. Now it boots into recovery and I have to select my SSD every time. Defeats the pupose of the SSD. Do I have to format the recovery partition the hdd. The hdd is disk0 and ssd disk1. On the windows boot manager the hhd is always at the top. Going to check reason 3 from this video, but not very confident it is going to work.
@@avadhutsatpute161 If you take the hdd out, it will boot correctly. There is a partition on there that windows will not delete and boots into. I swapped my ps4 hdd with the one in the laptop. Works perfect now with a different hdd. I have not tried putting the original hdd back, but sure it will work as the ps4 would have formated everything. Take the hdd out and try formatting it with a different device. The Ps4 hdd is now my storage drive and does not cause issues when booting up.
I bought AOMEI Backupper, followed your videos, and used Disk Clone to create a bootable 512MB (480MB) on an USB Sabrent device from my original C: 128MB SSD drive. It appears all the files were copied but two. Your Tech Support person (Kevin) was initially helpful until we exhausted all his recommendations and still NO boot from the USB Sabrent SSD. So, I requested another Tech Support person who could help me through this Boot problem and was denied. Needless to say, you Tech Support is NOT HELPFUL!!!
Good news! I downloaded the free Macrium 7 and first time without any of their Tech support successfully cloned my 128GB SSD to the new 480GB SSD using the Sabrent device. Amf it boots perfectly every time.

I have a Samsung 870 QVO and I recently just purchased and installed a Samsung 980 Pro NVMe. I used AOMEI to clone my 870 to my 980 in hopes I can use my 980 as my main boot drive. Although, when I try to boot to the 980, my computer never boots, and automatically boots to the 870. What can i do?
I am cloning a GPT M2 NVME ssd to one of identical specs only larger and another maker using a USB C and enclosure. there is only one internal SSD and Boot mode is UEFI with the source drive which boots fine - just want to upgrade size. Can the source drive being BitLockered have anything to do with the target drive giving a BSOD "inaccessible boot device" when trying to boot from it?
I am still having issues with UEFI Mode on a clone. I get the "inaccessible boot device" using the AOMI software. For you, and bitlocker, you must first unlock the drive. check the status first cmd, manage-bde -status to turn it off manage-bde c: -off where C is the main drive or if on an external device, like me I have a USB clone machine, so D Also the Dell laptop I am installing the SSD on is UEFI only, no legacy, and its still not even seeing the new SSD or my W10 USB recovery tool. Nothing is working for me.

All I’m trying to do is System Clone a M.2 500GB SSD to a M.2 1TB SSD using the Aomei Backupper Pro. OS is Win 10 Home. Problem 1: When done, the 1TB shows a Partition of only 500GB. The remainder is Unallocated. To change this I then needed to buy the Aomei Partition Pro to merge the Partitions. Problem 2: UEFI/BIOS recognizes the new Drive, but not that it is a Sys drive, so I can not change the Boot order. The Sys files are intact on the new drive. I was able to change the new drive from MBR to GPT. I did change to UEFI Mode for the new drive and no difference. Is there a way to Clone to a larger SSD and utilize all of the space?

I have tried cloning with this program and Partition Assistant I spent months I even had remote support twice and even the so-called Tec guys could not get it to work properly I gave in then and downloaded Macrim Reflect cloned first time in a couple of hrs and it's free

Now I have unmounted the SSD from the laptop and put it in a usb box (Icybox IB-1816M-C31), but when I connect it to the laptop usb 3.1 type c, windows 10 boot but not start ... .. after about ten seconds it restarts in recovery mode. Dear, usually the system disk cannot be used as an external disk to boot. Why do you want to use win10 SSD to start up via USB interface? What do you want to achieve?

Im also using the paid version, i need to clone an old mbr laptop to a New nvme gpt uefi laptop. I keep getting inaccesble boot device after cloning. I cant seem to change the boot mode to legacy most New laptops seem to only support uefi. Is there something in aomei backupper that can fix these issues?
@@AOMEITech yea already found that but still same problem, i removed the ssd out of the old laptop attached it with a sata to usb connector, and did the same with the New laptop remove the nvme ssd and attached it to a different pc running windows 11 with aomei on it. Selected disk clone and activated the convert source to gpt option. After the clone is done i just put it back in the New laptop and it wont boot keeps saying inaccesable boot device also tried fix mbr fix rebuild mbr and fixboot. Any other ideas ?
Can NVME also cause the same issue as AHCI and IDE? I installed AOMEI Backupper to a 2.5" SATA SSD. I wanted to clone a previously setup m.2 drive which I plugged directly into the open motherboard slot to another blank m.2 that was plugged into a pcie m.2 riser (so three drives total, drive A running the OS with AOMEI installed cloning drive B to drive C). The clone did not boot. Is it because I am using a SATA operating system to clone NVME drives?
Did you clone drive B to drive C? Is the drive B the system disk from another computer? If yes, you need to connect it to the original computer, and then boot from it to do the clone.

Clone surprisingly worked the first time but what was causing the subsequent failures was not using sysprep! You should do a video on that. Surprised no one mentions it in any of the cloning vids

@@aLoudSi1ence I needed to do sysprep because I made 15 of the same computer for a business. Better to set up once and clone 14 times than doing it one by one. In order to do that you need to do something called sysprep. If you’re doing it to the same computer it shouldn’t be an issue
I use your Backupper Pro Giveaway License and make a Disk Backup. After a PC Error i use Restore DiskBackup. On boot he only show "Winload Error" 0xc00000e nad Press F8 or F1 for Recovery environment. All your Backups not correctly works since Months or make a Non-Recoverable PC-Crash. Time to check your Software better or make a Solution for this Problem. After install of Backupper Pro Systems cant be recovered anymore. Universal Restore also not works on different Machines.

I used AOMEI to convert my OS SSD from MBR to GPT, conversion was successful, however when I switch my Boot Mode from Legacy to UEFI, my SSD is not detected in UEFI mode. How do I solve this? Thanks in advance.
Try connecting the disk to a different system to validate that the disk is not faulty. Re-check wire connections and try to confirm your motherboard firmware is the latest and supports the type of SSD you are installing. If still doesn't work, you can email our support team to get further help.

Hi dear, it is free for MBR disks. So if your disk is GPT you can convert to MBR and then convert.

@@uReqt Try the Macrium 7 free download. I couldn't boot with the AOMEI clone, either. But, the Macrium 7 worked perfectly.

For me it was because windows was updating so i let that finish and then changed boot drives

Hi, this error code has nothing to do with the software.
This error is more common on disks that use the newer UEFI specification with the GPT partition scheme, compared to older setups with a BIOS and MBR.

I used AOMEI to clone my disk hard drive to an ssd. Now I get the error "This app cant run on this PC." And when I search for local security policy, it's missing. Does that mean the local security policy didn't clone?

is there a command prompt i can tell the computer to run from the pcie m.2 slot. I am not seeing it when i am in the bios

Is it ok if I use partition clone instead of disk clone? I've use the partition clone option instead of disk clone and windows is not booting from my SSD. Is it because of partition clone option or something else?
Did you also set the right boot option after cloning your partition?

You can free up some space on your destination disk and try to clone again.

All I’m trying to do is System Clone a M.2 500GB SSD to a M.2 1TB SSD using the Aomei Backupper Pro. OS is Win 10 Home.
Problem 1: When done, the 1TB shows a Partition of only 500GB. The remainder is Unallocated. To change this I then needed to buy the Aomei Partition Pro to merge the Partitions.
Problem 2: UEFI/BIOS recognizes the new Drive, but not that it is a Sys drive, so I can not change the Boot order.
The Sys files are intact on the new drive.
I was able to change the new drive from MBR to GPT. I did change to UEFI Mode for the new drive and no difference.
Is there a way to Clone to a larger SSD and utilize all of the space?
You don't need to buy Aoemi Partition Pro, you can use the free version to extend the drive to utilize the extra free space.
You can extend the 500 mb volume to 1tb in computer management by just right clicking the volume you want to extend and selecting extend volume.

I ended up just migrating windows over to my ssd(without my other files) only way I was able to get it to boot.

You can have a try on AOMEI Backupper, if you find it good you can keep using this tool.
My PC has efi and non efi, both modes do not work for me. Their is no legacy mode. Cannot boot off ssd
So it is not the problem of boot mode, should be another one.

I cloned my win10 (ssd) to a larger successfully using aomei, but when I insert this ew cloned ssd.. it cannot boot and just stuck in loading showing the laptop brand over and over again.. can you help me?
Did you install it internally or connect it externally? And is your new disk's partition style the same as your original disk?
I have the same issue. I did manually resize the partitions. So they are different sizes but same order. Is this an issue?

I have tried cloning with this program and Partition Assistant I spent months I even had remote support twice and even the so-called Tec guys could not get it to work properly I gave in then and downloaded Macrim Reflect cloned first time in a couple of hrs and it's free
System Clone is also a paid feature in Macrium.
None of these work I'm just stuck in a loop.

on my laptop I had an SSD with windows 10 installed.
Now I have unmounted the SSD from the laptop and put it in a usb box (Icybox IB-1816M-C31), but when I connect it to the laptop usb 3.1 type c, windows 10 boot but not start ... .. after about ten seconds it restarts in recovery mode.
Can anyone explain to me why it does not start and if it can be solved?

Dear, usually the system disk cannot be used as an external disk to boot. Why do you want to use win10 SSD to start up via USB interface? What do you want to achieve?

But migrate is only for the system, clone will copy the entire disk include system.
Im also using the paid version, i need to clone an old mbr laptop to a New nvme gpt uefi laptop. I keep getting inaccesble boot device after cloning. I cant seem to change the boot mode to legacy most New laptops seem to only support uefi. Is there something in aomei backupper that can fix these issues?

@@AOMEITech yea already found that but still same problem, i removed the ssd out of the old laptop attached it with a sata to usb connector, and did the same with the New laptop remove the nvme ssd and attached it to a different pc running windows 11 with aomei on it. Selected disk clone and activated the convert source to gpt option. After the clone is done i just put it back in the New laptop and it wont boot keeps saying inaccesable boot device also tried fix mbr fix rebuild mbr and fixboot. Any other ideas ?

I installed AOMEI Backupper to a 2.5" SATA SSD. I wanted to clone a previously setup m.2 drive which I plugged directly into the open motherboard slot to another blank m.2 that was plugged into a pcie m.2 riser (so three drives total, drive A running the OS with AOMEI installed cloning drive B to drive C).
The clone did not boot. Is it because I am using a SATA operating system to clone NVME drives?
Did you clone drive B to drive C? Is the drive B the system disk from another computer?
If yes, you need to connect it to the original computer, and then boot from it to do the clone.

Clone surprisingly worked the first time but what was causing the subsequent failures was not using sysprep! You should do a video on that. Surprised no one mentions it in any of the cloning vids

@@aLoudSi1ence I needed to do sysprep because I made 15 of the same computer for a business. Better to set up once and clone 14 times than doing it one by one. In order to do that you need to do something called sysprep. If you’re doing it to the same computer it shouldn’t be an issue
I use your Backupper Pro Giveaway License and make a Disk Backup. After a PC Error i use Restore DiskBackup. On boot he only show "Winload Error" 0xc00000e nad Press F8 or F1 for Recovery environment. All your Backups not correctly works since Months or make a Non-Recoverable PC-Crash. Time to check your Software better or make a Solution for this Problem. After install of Backupper Pro Systems cant be recovered anymore. Universal Restore also not works on different Machines.

I used AOMEI to convert my OS SSD from MBR to GPT, conversion was successful, however when I switch my Boot Mode from Legacy to UEFI, my SSD is not detected in UEFI mode. How do I solve this? Thanks in advance.
Try connecting the disk to a different system to validate that the disk is not faulty. Re-check wire connections and try to confirm your motherboard firmware is the latest and supports the type of SSD you are installing. If still doesn't work, you can email our support team to get further help.

They took away the ability to clone for free in the pro trial version, which is the entire fucking reason for the software ion the first place lol.
It's always free for data disk and free for MBR system disk, nothing changed.
AOMIE software is useless for me, this guide is basic and again uselessm, Im deleting the software, I bought the Pro version and Im totally upset, I ran backups for months and when I needed to restore all I got was errors, I verified GPT formatted and tried bootrec useless, I hate this software
