  • Stork-billed Kingfisher, Pelargopsis capensis, is a very impressive bird, big in size, colourful and with a loud call. Listen to this Stork-billed Kingfisher call from Tissamaharam in Sri Lanka; there were two kingfishers calling to each other, one listening to the kingfisher sound while the other was calling and then switching roles.
