I am so thrilled to find this video! I'm new to sewing and quilting and when it came to making bindings, I've seen a few videos and none made as much sense or were as easy as you've made it! Thank you so much for such clarity and ease! My fear of binding be banished now (I hope!)
Hi Shelly, I thought you did have to get the strips exactly on the 90 deg' angle. I sit there with a set square at my sewing machine. (Very old beautiful Bernina) making sure they are perpendicular, thinking what a wonderful job it helped me to do :D So thank-you for sharing that. I also use your pva glue method for binding the last section of whatever it is I'm doing. So thank-you once again from the UK. It's kind of you to share. x
I remember being shown that the angle did not have to be exact and thinking...freedom! I do my best but as long as I sew from intersection to intersection it is all good.
