Yeah this little coaster is insane. I remember back when it was at Liseberg, it was PERFECT for reriding, just a short but super sweet launch coaster with full force in everything! An absolute underrated gem

Despite being loads smaller then the other Intamin launch coasters, it genuinely looks better then a good chunk of them.

I hope Lost Island succeeds! 100% built on farmland so not a lot of environmental impact, and the ride itself has some awesome elements, those airtime hills look wicked!

Was able to get 7 rides on this opening day, such a great coaster. Small, but packs a punch - videos don't quite do the launch justice.
That whip at 0:38 is insane. The launch was quicker than I expected too.

Last year season, lost island theme park only had average of 400 patrons a day. They had a operating loss of seven figures. They want to have a goal minimum of 1,000 a day to keep afloat for this season. The nearby Lost island water park averages 1,500 a day.

Hearing this place needs our help from coaster studios yesterday makes me want to make the drive for this one. Intamins are some of my favorite rides!
Also The dark ride here is really good and they even have a sky fly ride In the park one of only 2 in the whole USA. Biggest surprise was the drop tower but not the ride its self lol.
@brandon bruscher we were just at michigans adventure last weekend. This place gives me those vibes but on a nicer level.

Oh i remember this as Kanonen in Liseberg Sweden. My teen years loved this. PS dont sitt in the back with ur hands in the air after the loop going over that bend;P Not if u want bruises on ur shoulders ;D

Wow, I didn’t even know this existed, but this is one of my favorite coasters! Short but efficient, looking incredibly whippy and compact, that’s the type of coaster I absolutely love! Nice pov dude

Oh it’s a relocated ride
strange how the launch brakes never seem to be up, even when the train comes back to the station. did they ever go up while you were riding?
After it passes each segment of the launch they go up. If at the launch after it goes up the tophat you can see all the brakes are in the upright position.
@Blaney yeah i see it now while the train is out on the layout, but on all other Accelerators the brake fins are up until the train engages with the catchcar. on this one they're just down the entire time the train is in (and approaching) the station. weird difference in programming

I mean its not a new ride, it was built for Liseberg in Sweden in 2005 and they closed it in 2016 after which Lost Island bought it second hand. A lot of the parks rides are second hand, their SLC came from South Africa.

To you americans it might be called some weird ass name like "Matugani", but to us swedish people who grew up with it we call it its true name "Kanonen", and it will always be the swedish classic to us

Coaster is sick, just wish parks would theme their rides out a bit more. The plywood sheets on the wall in the station is hilariously bad.
The station exterior is an ancient temple with a giant snake head arch the train launches out of.
