      I believe this park, if it even opens, won't stay open very long. It is part of a much larger project of ridiculous Saudi investment into outlandish megaprojects to attrict tourist so they cam diversify from oil. They are largely destined to falter, especially since a large portion of them exceed humanities actual present technology (e.g the line city thing). I'm willing to bet money these projects collectively fail to recover their investments and will eventually be shuttered.

    TBH, Ka has held the record for enough time for what it is. Up down. up down. Break run. This actually deserves the record since it actually has a layout. As my home park being great adventure, I say this from my heart.

    • @randomchannel-px6ho
      @randomchannel-px6ho Год назад +13

      I mean it's always been possible to build a ride far taller and longer than Ka. Ka is short because the hydraulic launch cost a fuck ton already too the point the ride was a questionable investment. No park in the world can afford a ride like this because the economics just don't work, the Saudi government is just completely detached from reality. I'm glad to see something like this get built but I think it's not going to end up being a success story lol

    Jesus is coming soon. Ask Him into your life. Cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness. Make Him your Lord & your Savior. One day, YOU will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

    Sooo.. There's no loops whatsoever, and it's just a bunch of hills and turns?🫤
    Not to mention, gahh, I don't even want to imagine how long the rollercoasters line will be to get onto this ride for it being super long...

      Most of the best roller coasters in the world do not go upside down, because those are the rides that can focus on height and speed. Generally roller coasters with inversions have to keep the speed relatively low to avoid excessive forces. There are VERY few exceptions to this and those exceptions are not super highly regarded in the amusement industry.

      @triple7marc I mean rollercoasters with speed are quite boring- in terms of the fact that the faster the roller coaster the more likely your body is going to get smacked all over the place and you'll be hurting afterwards or speed takes your breath away but not in a good way. At least with inversions, you can experience some very interesting feelings like a bunch of different types of G's. If anything it would've been cool for this rollercoaster to instead be a Flying train instead of sit down train because then it would A) match the name of the rollercoaster- I mean who wouldn't want to live the actual feeling of flying like a Falcon? and b) it would be a very unique roller coaster that would attract lots of people and wouldn't be considered boring with just the hills and curves and the speed.
      To me and I know of a bunch of others that have this thought: This is just another rollercoaster that will not stand out from the rest, even if it is known as the fastest and Highest rollercoaster. It'll still be like all the other rollercoasters that are known for just speed, height, hills, and curves.
      If that makes sense. Also, you do know what a flying train is in a rollercoaster, right?

      @@earthdyrad "rollercoasters with speed are quite boring" Well, that's your personal preference. I personally love the sense of speed that roller coasters can have.
      "the faster the roller coaster the more likely your body is going to get smacked all over the place and you'll be hurting afterwards" This isn't necessarily true. It more depends on the type of restraint used. Over-the-shoulder restraints tend to cause this whiplash sensation more due to how closed off they are. A good example of this is Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka - very similar rides/speeds, but Kingda Ka is noticeably rougher than Top Thrill Dragster was. This caused most people who rode both of them, me included, to rank Top Thrill Dragster higher than Kingda Ka.
      "or speed takes your breath away but not in a good way" This would, in practice, only apply to acceleration, not speed. And I've heard of very few people who complain abou excessive speed on a ROLLER COASTER. It is a roller coaster, after all.
      "It'll still be like all the other rollercoasters that are known for just speed, height, hills, and curves." Except it'll be almost 200 feet taller than the current tallest roller coaster in the world lol. It's going to be insane.
      "Also, you do know what a flying train is in a rollercoaster, right?" Yes, I've ridden every operating flying coaster, except one, in the US. They're fun rides but the G-forces tend to be so high that they can't really be record-breakers, which is the entire point of this roller coaster.
