Very hard to believe that the Golden Ticket for best new rollercoaster has a high chance of going to a park in Europe in 2024!
I agree if I was a betting man I would vote Europa park with Voltron it's certainly a interesting ride
Not so sure it that's hard to believe. European parks are better at delivering the complete package when it comes to coasters. Sure the US gets the height and speed but generally speaking they don't get the theme correct or even have one at all. European parks are just more enjoyable.
Not really hard to believe also because literally nobody outside the US cares about the golden ticket awards 😅

The Circuit Breaker is finally coming to the US? I’ve seen the ones in Taiwan…must…ride
My personal #1 is Penguin Trek at SeaWorld Orlando, with Top Thrill 2 at a close second. It should be kept in mind that I will be living in Orlando soon (meaning that this will be one of my home parks), that I really like penguins, and I didn't get to go on the dark ride that used to belong there so I'm really looking forward to its replacement, Penguin Trek. All of that being said, I might be just a little bit biased.

I rode iron menace :) It was awesome
I'm most looking forward to Top Thrill 2, followed by I B Looping (officially named All American Triple Loop) and Flash: Vertical Velocity. That's pretty much the order of my likelihood of riding. In addition I have a bunch of less new coasters I haven't gotten on yet that I'm looking forward to as well.
Great video! Andro-meh-da is the pronunciation; I believe referring to the andromeda galaxy, andromeda constellation or the book by Michael Criton, and movie, the Andromeda Strain. Cheers! Keep riding coasters.

I asked SFOG a month ago about the announcement date for the name of their Ultra Surf. They replied to me saying that it’ll be announced soon. I predict that it’ll be announced later this month or sometime in the beginning of the new year, the Ultra Surf could end up being named either Aquaphobia or Georgia Surfer
I feel like if it was going to be named georgia surfer itd have to be by scorcher

Hyperia Isn’t going to be to good besides the outback inversion there’s nothing to it and possibly the first drop, It’s only 60 min down the road so I’ll ride it but it’s not going to be anything special

I actually prefer circuit breaker more the hyperia hell they couldn’t even think of what took to call it so they basically too the name from energylandia Hyperion and I am cheered Up because TTD (TT2 not what I’m going to call it) is reopening I’d say it’s me being ignorant than anything else
Agree. I'm yet to be 100% convinced by Hyperia - layout looks short and perhaps a 1 (or 2) trick pony?
Tho' I do live close enough to have gone along and had a look at the construction site. Have to say that seeing it 'in the flesh' has made me a little more excited. Guess we'll all have to just wait and see - then get some real opinions once it opens.
Personally I'm more excited by the prospect of Voltron - the whole theming and the way Europa park run their rides means I suspect it'll be a great experience.

The early reviews would unanimously disagree with you proving that length isn't everything but maintaining speed and intensity throughout a ride is and having unique elements which provide amazing views and airtime.
To be fair, my original comment was 4months ago and I did say we would need to wait and see.
I agree initial reviews have been good and I have become more enamoured as it's gone along; shame it's had to close temporarily so soon after opening.
Without having ridden either myself I still prefer the looks and theming of voltron, but will be interested to ride both when I get the chance.

Does this mean you believe Falcon's Flight isn't opening in 2024? The latest dates give I've seen for it is October 2024, and construction actually starting means it could happen. Obviously there's a lot about the whole Qiddiya project we don't know yet though...

Flash Vertical Velocity will get a turn table by the 2026 season, and they will either put this in Sixflags New England by the 2026 season, or a clone of Kid Flash
