Ooh, Toyota quality, 4wd, & fiberglass shell. I too am lusting after this rig. Beautifully & intelligently redone from the truck mechanicals to the interior. I'm inspired & impressed. Thanks!
Yeah I spotted him a while back. In this video he mentions the bigger motor but didn't specify what it was. This thing actually came with the old 22r 4 cylinder which for this was obviously grossly underpowered. He put in the 3.4 V6 that was used in 3rd gen 4Runner's and 1st gen Tacoma's. (If you opted for the V6 package)
Superb quality notwithstanding, the vehicle chassis is already over 40 years old, which is long past its natural life. Maintain something that old could be an issue as parts would be obsolete.
This rig has an incredible amount of space saving, organizational and just plain cool extras....Wonderful work all the way around! Thanks so much for sharing Bob, Brad & Lily!
I have noticed that quite a few experienced "van lifers" dispose of sinks and showers inside a vehicle. I have seen hellish water damage totally destroy a beautiful van build, too. Keep your plumbing outside.
I am a registered nurse and when I have patients that have broken an arm or have wound care, we recommend sponge baths even up to 8 weeks they survive very well. I think we could learn a lot from this.
A spray bottle of vinegar water really satisfies cleaning needs and wants. Reusable towels or paper towels and then I don’t miss a shower at all really.
Hi! I've been looking for where to post this, so I guess this video will have to do. On Amazon you have a video from a very helpful lady about how to fold the Abco Pop Up Tent, and I want to thank you and her for making that video available. Amazon has plenty of videos from helpful people eager to show us how to do it. Well, I watched a few of them and got nowhere. One guy folded his tent beyond the camera frame, a couple of others did it so fast I have no idea what they did. But that lady.... ohh, she is wonderful! Particularly that part about where to put your hands on the tent and how to bring them together. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Smart! Everything about this rig is well thought out and useful. I want to do the four cameras on my van when I get it, but I never thought about it being used for driving so there are no blindspots. What a smart idea! Also, putting the fridge up front is such a good idea. It saves space and you can have a cold drink while you are driving. hahaha
There’s one of those in 2nd just down the road from my house I may stop and ask them if they want to sell it lol I don’t really need it but it maybe a good reseller on your channel buddy !!
Everything looks nice! The only issue I would have issues sleeping in the bed, it is to closed in for me , different strokes for different folks! Happy and safe travels with that pretty navigator you have Little dogs are made for traveling !
I did the same. I had an off road trailer built to my specifications and it’s totally off grid as well with a Bluetti AC200Max, 800 watt solar panels, Zero Breeze AC and a Joolca hot water heater. It goes wherever my Jeep Wrangler can go! I travel with my Labrador retriever.
Great arrangement! What an innovative rig. And they're right - now I want to look for one of these Toyota Sunraders! Will definitely find Brad's channel.
I could live in a rig like that he has his comfort as well as his freedom this guy has good skills. I don't mean to be negative when i say i couldn't live in a car i do understand not everyone will have the funds to have a rig like this guy has.
Awesome interview and tour, what a great rig!! I would love to have one of these. I actually recall seeing this rig in Arizona this past January and thought it was so cool! I like the no sink versatility as well as the hammock system!
He did a great job converting this. The rear axle on these Toyota RVs was a weak spot anyway so converting it to 4x4 with upgraded suspension was a good solution. The only thing I would struggle with is the over cab bed (but it’s because I’m claustrophobic).
I worked at Sunrader in the early 80s, I sure wish they still made them. Thanks for sharing
A man and his dog...doesn't get much better 🐕
Especially on the peanut butter nights
Mmmm... except maybe a woman and HER dog... 😛😉

@@mrslcomA steel chassis only last 40 years 😢 (sarcasm). That thing is a total gut rehab. Not a lot of 40 year old parts.
This rig has an incredible amount of space saving, organizational and just plain cool extras....Wonderful work all the way around! Thanks so much for sharing Bob, Brad & Lily!
One of my favorite interviews so far. What a delightful person and a great setup!
I love the no sink! And the rear storage. And side storage. And cab access. Great job.
Indeed. I stopped using a sink years ago. It encourages saving water, creates more storage, & keeps things cleaner.
I have noticed that quite a few experienced "van lifers" dispose of sinks and showers inside a vehicle. I have seen hellish water damage totally destroy a beautiful van build, too. Keep your plumbing outside.
Incredible rig, interior and exterior! He's a genius.
I can’t believe how many new ideas Bradley brought, Thanks for sharing your genius (and obviously building skills). Thanks Bob and team CRVL❤

Beautiful life!!
Nice and clean for the gentleman and his doggo❤
What a great little home on wheels!! Love it!! All one needs!!
Adorable pup and great rig setup! Cheers - Nola
What a great rig! He could pick up extra helping others retrofit their spaces. He's got the knack!
Oh wow, he definitely maximized space but I love having the bathroom/shower in my Sunrader.
If I recall correctly, I met Bradley and his Sunrader on the Natchez Trace. If not Bradley, he has a doppelganger driving a similar Sunrader. Be safe.
His rig is freaking awesome..I'd take it over the new stuff any day.! Good luck in your adventures 😬

Wow, what a beautiful beast
A nice job on this camper. It looks fully functional and a cozy place to live. A great video, Bob.
Thanks for the excellent materials and working my way towards your world.God bless.
What a beautiful neat home! I esp. love the way the wood burner is set up and that ultra-creative spice rack.
Amazing setup I'm envious!
Absolutely love this rig!
Very cool
Really nice ride thanks again Bob great job 👍👍
Everything looks nice! The only issue I would have issues sleeping in the bed, it is to closed in for me , different strokes for different folks! Happy and safe travels with that pretty navigator you have Little dogs are made for traveling !
I wish I had the skills to do what he did.❤ Love the pegboard…great quilting idea.
This guy seems very humble and laid back, kinda gives me Tony Hawk vibes but for overlanders lol. I will be checking out his stuff! Thanks!

Thanks Bob &Bradley great rig!
I have a boxvan but now I want to abscond with my son's Toyota Tacoma! Love this build.
Love his realness, just say it like it is😊
The pop-up silicone basin is such a simple and more versatile solution than an installed sink.
I have one its perfect a cool gadget 👍
Hey Brad. Has the cold given your lithium any problems? Great well thought out and capable rig by the way.
Praying for your health condition! Your rig is so awesome!!
This is the perfect setup!
I’ve seen Brad’s channel & have learned a lot about the interior building! He definitely a good follow! Thank you Brad & Bob for this video!
Beautiful, and intelligent build out. You would be very successful doing van designs and buildouts! ✨️
Great arrangement! What an innovative rig. And they're right - now I want to look for one of these Toyota Sunraders! Will definitely find Brad's channel.
Try packing cubes for your coats or other clothes. I love them. So easy to move and otherwise manage clothing 😊👍🏼
Sweet rig. Like the hammock mounts!
I could live in a rig like that he has his comfort as well as his freedom this guy has good skills.
I don't mean to be negative when i say i couldn't live in a car i do understand not everyone will have the funds to have a rig like this guy has.
I really enjoy Bradley's Chanell!
This man is very prepared. Awesome!!
Like that last line. “Now I have ANOTHER rig that I will lust after”.
Awesome interview and tour, what a great rig!! I would love to have one of these. I actually recall seeing this rig in Arizona this past January and thought it was so cool! I like the no sink versatility as well as the hammock system!
Great rig ... it's nice to have the skill set to be able to improvise and build out the way that works best for you.
He has a really good channel. I'm really surprised that he doesn't have more subscribers.
Oh man, I saw a Mirage in a junk yard just today! Truck campers are so neat!
Love your set up !!!
Loved everything about this video thanks for sharing ❤
Excellent rig. Ticks all the boxes.
Nice setup and nice guy.
Great video 🙏 Thank y'all
There's living, existing, and the end of the road lifestyles. You decide what you live. ✌️❤️🤙
💖 That's a cool set up. Thank you for sharing with us. 😀
Fascinating rig. Loved it.
Thanks for this❤
I'm all teary eyed as he has my dream vehicle (sniff sniff) It's just perfect...If youd ever like to part with it.....

The sunraiders and dolphins are some of the best deals out there in cheap, reliable, manageable size rv's
