ok I see you six flags discovery, it's about time they done something to this park because it was starting to look like a beat up carnival now they need to add some amusing things at the back of the park were it looks all dead.
Lets go, Elvin back in with another W discovery kingdom, im also rlly happy that the Flash is back open, i rode it for the first time on april 1st for scream break!
That scrambler is called Scat-a-bout, I always thought they should tent it and add a sound/lighting package to up that ride quality. Maybe some jungle and/or wildlife theming. Really hoping all the new elevation signs and minor changes already are signs of them moving things forward. Areas like Oasis, Looney Toons Seaport and the Johnny Rocket hill can use some good love. Some simple upgrades and quality control improvements would probably increase their draw which would in turn hopefully help them do bigger upgrades.
I don’t know… I’ll never understand why anyone would love this place. I used to love it until it went downhill once COVID hit. Rides always closed/broken down/taken out, clearly depressed animals, short staffed, and it just looks more and more neglected every time I see it. I can only hope this park gets the love it needs like it did before… otherwise, I don’t miss it. Great America is where it’s at! Honestly, at it’s current state, I wish SFDK was closing in 10 years and not GA. That way GA could get their rides that do operate 😉 At least Flash is finally open!
@@Eldons_Excursions ohh ok. Sucks when u go to a park and a ride is not open. Luckily i have the season pass but they should make the experience better by having operating staff at all the rides
The actual reason why the ride was removed was because there was an incident last year in May to wear a maintenance person was working on Daredevil and one of the pins on the ride broke which caused the ride to move freely and to the right vehicle charge on the maintenance. There's a video of the maintenance person being stretchered out of the park at the exit of Medusa.
