    In May 2017, while on holiday in California, I visited Stanford University Campus, the Mall, and downtown Palo Alto. Shortly after returning to my hotel after lunch, I experienced severe pain that is indescribable. I was quickly transported by ambulance to Stanford University Medical Center where I spent long hours in the emergency room waiting for a diagnosis. Your story sounds exactly like mine. Eventually, I underwent an Aortic Dissection Operation, which was a true miracle.

      Permisi, saya mau bertanya apakah pasien diseksi aorta, memiliki perbedaan tekanan darah antara lengan kanan dan kiri?

    • @bagus853
      @bagus853 7 месяцев назад

      @@muhammadiqbal-ou8ts Hi Iqbal , Pada umumnya, perbedaan tekanan darah antara lengan kanan dan kiri pada pasien dengan diseksi aorta tidak signifikan. Namun, dalam beberapa kasus, terutama pada diseksi aorta yang melibatkan arteri subklavia atau cabang arteri lainnya, dapat terjadi perbedaan tekanan darah antara kedua lengan. Hal ini bisa disebabkan oleh aliran darah yang terganggu atau penyempitan arteri yang memasok darah ke salah satu lengan.
      Perbedaan tekanan darah antara lengan kanan dan kiri biasanya diperiksa sebagai bagian dari evaluasi dan diagnosis pasien dengan diseksi aorta. Jika terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, hal ini dapat menjadi pertanda adanya masalah yang lebih serius dalam aliran darah arteri, dan bisa menjadi petunjuk bagi tim medis untuk menentukan strategi pengobatan yang tepat.
      Namun demikian, perbedaan tekanan darah antara lengan kanan dan kiri tidak selalu menunjukkan adanya diseksi aorta. Oleh karena itu, penilaian lebih lanjut oleh tenaga medis yang berkualifikasi diperlukan untuk memastikan diagnosis yang akurat dan penanganan yang tepat bagi pasien.
      Semoga membantu Iqbal. Take care.

    God Bless You. God Is Good! I had an ascending aortic dissection on Halloween of 2012. Unbeknownst to me I contracted 2 bacteria (1 I got from the hospital) which attached itself to the repair my surgeon had done. 2 years later I had to have another even more complex emergency surgery as the bacteria had eaten away at all of the repair and even extended the damage on down farther.This time he replaced the mechanical repair with a biological (cadavar) repair. My surgeon said the bacteria didn't normally attach itslelf as readily to this type of material versus mechanical. I now have an anyursym that they are watching. I pray I don't have to have this surgery a third time.

    It is kinda rare to survive this. Lucille Ball, John Ritter, and Allan Thicke passed away from this.
    It's a tearing of the heart tissue. Your brain doesn't know how to localize the pain so it often feels like a extraordinary back and chest pain.

    • @EmanM45
      @EmanM45 17 дней назад

      Not trying to argue, but the dissection is of the aorta -the largest and main artery in the body. It is not heart tissue. I have an ascending aneurysm of 4.8 cm and have done a LOT of research on this condition. It is not common and has no symptoms a lot of the time.

    Rodney is pretty damn lucky. The medical people that do this stuff are heros . If you have this at all and live its amazing.. I can't imagine guess it is worth it get checked out . I know a guy who had something like this and the vessel burst in the doctors hands (not sure how) during the surgery. He lived but he would have died the day of his surgery.

    I had a type B dissection on July 20th. Tear was just under my heart down to my kidneys. THANKFULLY i did not have to have surgery because it did not interfere with the blood flow to my legs. Scariest most painful thing i have ever felt
    Glad to see you are doing so well.

      Sounds like my encounter too. I had the dissection in my abdomen so not as bad as the chest area. But I went to my local hospital 3 times in 9 days. Each time they sent me home saying I had a virus. The last time I refused to leave as I was too ill. A new Dr got me CT scan and they found it and rushed me to another hospital! They did not know how i had survived for 9 days without medical attention. But I knew that day I was dying. The doctors and nurses, all of the medical team are heroes. 2 weeks in hospital and I'm now out. Slowly recovering. Grateful 🙏

    My current situation is very strange. In the last week of July I had sudden lower back pains radiating up between my shoulder blades. Went to the ER. Was admitted and got CT scans, etc. after a 4 day stay I was discharged. No surgery. They told me that I had a ascending aorta aneurysm 3.9 CM. I got home and was reading the discharge papers and they talk about a abdominal dissection. What?!?! They only told me on discharge to find a cardiologist. This is a big hospital in Houston. Why didn’t the perform surgery on the lower abdm8nal aorta dissection. I assume it’s a small interior dissection. But I also learned that my upper portion of the descending aorta had dissected and looks as though it healed according to later learned info. Currently sitting home over a month and a half since first going into ER. My question is why didn’t they want to operate? They never even explained that.

      My comment to your reply did not save, so I am rewriting it. I also had type B aortic dissection. I did not have surgery. 9 days on 24 hour watch in ICU - that was 4 years ago. All you need to do is follow your doctor's direction. I have a wonderful doctor. Control your BP and watch your nutrition.
