Sounds like this “caregiver” is more worried about financial liability than the well-being of his patients.
I think its worth considering that perhaps, like Amal Mattu (The GOAT Cardiologist) He brings up the liability as a way to scare selfish providers into learning to better care for these patients. If you can't beat em, join em as they say.
