I loved the quadcopter footage throughout the video. The only thing I didn't like about the gimbal was the fact that you have to stabilize it first but I would love having one!
i think your not getting full good results because you didn't balance your camera properly. it must stay in any position when you move it (while is off) if not you get shaky results and you burn the motors quick.
I have this Crane M for my Oly M10 Mark II and Samsung phone, and agree with you that it is wonderful. To greatly reduce the up-and-down motion, I utilize a DIY handlebar based on the Zhiyun handle design idea; this surprisingly helps eliminate the z-axis "bounce," using a lightweight straight handlebar (for bicycles) with two grip attachments and a clamping arrangement in the center, at about 20 percent the cost of the prettier commercial one. Thanks for the video - great work!
Thank you as well. Most people do not realize -- and not that many appreciate -- the effort and time it takes to make a RUclips video such as you have here. I am guessing the who process took 10 to 15 hours, start to finish, to create this one 8-minute post. That's why I don't do it - Ha. Great job - and Thanks again!
At 2:00 you cand see how bad is balanced. The camera must stay in any position when the gimbal is turned off. In this video the camera is falling off. You cand find on youtube other good tutorials, but this si a bad one
Hi great job with your review. At 3:45 you recommend to reduce the tilt and pan speed for more fluid movements. In your experience what are your suggested values? Thank you
Very good your video, a question ... I want to use this stabilizer Crane M, for a camera of video Sony FDR-AX53 ?? can be used THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER...
Did you try the 14-140 with stabilization off? 14-140 is notorious for its micro jitter which results in flickering footage as you film scenes with a lot of detail like trees in your video. I'm also the owner of 14-140 and would want to know if it works better with a gimbal and stabilization off...
I wonder why all other manufacturers have never noticed the need for versatility. U need freedom to put anything and it is supported and smoothness wins. Nice review Linus and thanks for finding the good deals.
Hey Im about to order my ZHiyun Crane M now, however, I am wondering if the plat forms for smart phones and gopros are included in the package. Im a bit confuse. Thanks!
Hi! Just bought my Zhiyun Crane M. However, I notice that when I use the second to the last mode, the Crane M was not able to support the weight of my Lumix G7 with the kit lens. It doesn't record a smooth video when following the subject vertically. Sometimes it lose control and moves really fast. Not sure if I just need to adjust any settings in my gimbal or it's defective.😔
Hello, I have the Zhiyun Crane M and also use it on the Lumix G7 but when left and right the motor hits the side of the camera and prevents the camera inverting, how have you stopped this from happening?
This video is another level! The drone shots were amazing and overall, the quality is among the best on RUclips. You deserve at least 200k subs, Linus. Keep it up! P.S. I bought the Smooth 3 because of your review. Works great, my best smartphone accessory yet!
Hey guys ..It will be work with SONY AX53 - 2.9 x 3.2 x 6.6 / 7.4 x 8.1 x 16.8 cm ..Weight 22.4 oz / 635 g ? ..I need desperately stabilizer or gimbal for this camera in 4K resolution... Thank you for any advice
This is considered a budget stabilizer. They are expensive because there is a lot of technology crammed into them. This gimbal is also precisely machined out of metal. I can't give you the exact answer though. Everything that is related to filmmaking is super expensive. E.g. some top of the line tripod fluid heads cost $16k.
Great video and fitness work out for you Linus. Phew! I was tired just watching you. I have no place in my life for such a thing but always enjoy a great Linus video regardless. Many thanks young warrior.
Do you own a camera stabilizer? Please share your opinions!

Thanks! That's the case with each and every gimbal! The law of physics

Thx for your video. in 2021, Would you advise getting a crane M for my gx80?
But you balanced it wrong. The camera should stay in any position when is right balanced
RUclips Account Can you make a video of how to properly balance it with G7 and 25mm lens?

Hello. You probably did not balance the gimbal with your camera... That's why it is not working properly
TechLineHD i think so too! I wasn't able to balance it correctly that's why it's behaving that way. Many thanks!
Very nice video, great work 👍
Thanks a lot, Peter!

some people have said the M will not work well with Sony A6000 series camera and lens
Man you are doing a great job posting such good reviews. I accidently found it all happens in Vilnius. Good luck with your project! Ramunas.
Thanks a lot for watching!
Will this work with Sony a6000+18-105mm G lens ?
I think you're films would benefit from doing the 'Ninja' walk to prevent the up and down shaking
