Engine issue is because of a physical mixture control being set to zero. Maddog engines won’t start either if the mixture on my throttle quadrant is turned off.
I am glad you commented on the “what you’re getting yourself into.”. I crave realism but the “you won’t be able to even start it” told me it is probably more realistic than most seek…yet something that that I want ONCE i have some DEDICATED time since it won’t be a “hop in and fly” after 15 min. of “scanning the manual.”. Thanks.
It's awesome. I busted the bank and bought it along with the MD80, and I've only taken the MD80 for one flight. The 146, on the other hand, I've been flying constantly since Friday. Amazing value for money, and I haven't even scratched the surface yet. JF are a fantastic developer. First the Pipers, then the Hawk, and now this. They do it to perfection. When selecting the take off state, you have to wait for the 4 engines to come online. It will start each one in sequence so while you might think it’s not working, it actually is. It’s just that you have to wait it out.
Yeah my state issue was actually a bug, it went away after three reinstalls, they weren’t actually starting up quite the contrary everything was shutting down! All sorted now though hence the pinned message :)
The BAE is amazing since i got it i barely fly anything else. For me personally its even better than the Maddog but thats of course my own preference :)
One thing about the fmc is that it is't rialistic now since it's just the WT cj4 one. But they will be adding a reall bea fmc later on like they did in xplane.
States worked fine for me. Glad you resolved your issue. Really enjoying this aircraft. Agree with checklist, some arrows don't point to switches. Great sounds, good textures in cockpit, cabin a bit basic but maybe they were concerned for fps drop. Glad they dropped price otherwise I may have skipped this aircraft. Will take time to master but that's why I'll keep coming back to it.
Will this or MD 80 go to the MS store? I don't like buying from outside the store. I'm worried about installation and especially the MD 80 as it uses outside s\w to navigate or whatever. I'm not sure on how you'd ever update it or know about an update so I like the MS store, which makes it simple. I will probably pass on the 146 as not probably in the US, so I have to pick between the MD or the PMDG 737, but probably not the 700 model.
No problem if you don't wish to buy the 146 from us but just so you are aware, if you buy from us the installation is simple, very simple. We've done it the same way for many years now and for any updates you'll receive an email from us notifying you of the update. You then head to your account and redownload. Couldn't be easier. Just to let you know though it will be heading to the marketplace as per all our add-ons do. Thanks
Thanks for the overview. If I am spending £50 on a MSFS aircraft with "study level" pretensions, I want; Graphics that demonstrate the sim. i.e. MSFS graphics. Not concerned with the cabin, but flight deck (the office) must be MSFS levels. The Office looks FSX/FS9? I dont want engine shutdown bugs. I dont want partly functioning checklists....If its study level checklists/flows must be spot on! So I will wait (need to save up anyway) until its de bugged!! Cheers.

Since I spend all my time as Captain, in the Office, I need this to convince me I am here and not 20 years ago in FS9! Also, I feel like this is a 4 engined CJ4? That WT port over of the FMC is a bit inexcusable...Odd that the EFB actually does look MSFS fidelity, but not the rest? If this was at £25 I would be more forgiving. Cheers again for the looksee!

Whilst we welcome feedback and engage directly and constructively with the community on a daily basis, nonsensical and frankly trolling posts like these regarding all our products appear to just suggest a wider issue with the Just Flight brand, which is especially odd if you haven't even purchased one of our products? In absolutely no way is the 146 a 'four engined CJ4' and I think that's clear to everyone, yourself included. Aside from the modified WT FMS (not itself just a CJ4 FMS), absolutely no other part of the aircraft with it's hundreds of systems is remotely like the CJ4. This is an entirely custom aircraft beyond the retrofit FMS, a capability which the real aircraft wasn't even equipped with from launch. Every one of the aircraft systems functions as per the real FCOMs and this was developed with direct involvement of 146 pilots. This isn't a 'port over', another point which is pretty obvious and noted by the rest of the community. We even have a long list of all the brand new content in the aircraft, from many months of work on the MSFS version. One of those new features is extensive use of 8K and decal textures, so it's certainly not an FSX style flight deck as we had none of those luxuries back then, but we've explained that many times before on your other comments. In terms of cost, this is the cheapest complex payware airliner for MSFS, and we even reduced the price based on community feedback. We appreciate that everyone has different budgets though. We are aware of no engine shutdown bugs other than if people have an axis assigned to a mixture control, which needs to be removed. We'll have a look at the checklists but the interactive in-sim checklists were working fine here, and of course the manual has extensive checklists that can be referred to, so there is more than enough material to get you into the air. Do we have a replay tool or just certain planes? I know nothing about it. You think the 737 is going to cost more? How many people really want a 737-700? Are we gonna get socked with every model of the 737 or cheaper upgrade price?
I can do everything but work the ap with this aircraft, whenever I engage LNAV it just banks all the way to the left until the ap disengages because of it
This thing looks great but it's been complete garbage for me. Starts water all over the place and won't follow the flight plan, FD does it's own thing, keeps stalling in straight and level, AP keeps disconnecting.

@@PilotStudd the way to find out would be to delete it and reinstall it. Then u would find out if it was a corrupted file or bug or just your computer

Hi, ensure that you have RNAV selected with the little switch in the middle of the left instrument panel

To be fair a good study level being 70 pounds it's cheap. I got a stand alone 747 Aerowinx for around 270 pounds
I haven’t tried out the mad-dog it looks good in places and not so good in others, but I struggle to swallow paying £70 for anything nowadays 😂
