Excellent tutorial, thank you! Rented an SR200 for the day. I've only used the mini skid steers before. Couldn't have done this without help and yours was the best presentation I found.
I don't know if I ever finished out this series! It was really early on in the channel's life and not many people were watching these kind of videos. I'll try to pick up where I left off in this series at some point for you.
2004 tr270 how do the couplers work. I connect the bucket, used it and now I can not disconnect it. They have manual couplers. Where there are handles to move
If it is a manual coupler the handles should be in the same spot they are on every machine. The are between the bucket and the frame of the machine. There are two long handles that flip up and raise the pins.
Put the coupler back into the unlock position and then wiggle the machine towards the side that is already aligned. That SHOULD drag the bucket into position. I say should because occasionally the bucket will be sitting at an angle on a pile and may not align properly. Don't be afraid to use the corner of your coupler to pull the bucket around. You can move the bucket to make the coupling process easier on yourself.
Towards the top on the left hand pillar there is a button with a red square and an unlock symbol. If you don't see one then you might have a mechanical coupler
He has showed what buttons he presses😂 he even said don't worry about how he goes about hitting the button on the pilar coz it varies on different machines.
You have to hold the unlock button in the unlock position. While holding the unlock, push your hydraulics over relief. This will cause the couple up open. Release your hydraulics first, then release the unlock button. That allows the coupler to stay in the unlock position
I’m having the same issue 2012 SV250 case, I push and hold the unlock button while toggling my hydraulic switch on the right hand control and I can see my hydraulic hoses vibrate with reaction but the pin never move .

Thanks Jon! I really appreciate that! Let me know if there's any other topics you'd like to see covered!
I was looking for the #4 video in this series? Thank you for making awesome, in-depth content!

Good video. Have been looking for a video on dropping the forks on a skidsteer and have had no luck!
Follow the same steps as dropping a bucket.
Setting your controls how you have them would be awesome so I can use one hand too
Most newer skids are coming with ISO controls.
How do I connect my coupler. I have manual couplers and I cannot unhook it all the way.

What happens if one side is attached and the other side wasn't lined up? How do you correct this problem?

What botton did you push to disengage the bucket I can’t find it

What button inside the cab activates the lock arm, the whole reason I watched the tutorial is so I can know which buttons to push inside the cab
I'm not sure what a lock arm is? Are you talking about the coupler or the lockout used when servicing the machine?

Does this apply to case tv380? Can’t find anything on it
As long as it has a hydraulic quick coupler then it will be the exact same.
I can’t get lever to activate holding unlock switch and thumb button but I can’t get anything out of the locking device
