This happened six day ago and this is the first I am hearing about this. This sucks man, how many guitars, basses, amps, drums, so much has been destroyed.
The insurance company is only going to pay for the cost of the amps, not wholesale, after the deductible. But sometimes water damage isn't covered. Flood is rarely covered. I think most fire policies have wordage about water damage due to "breaking of machinery". I wouldn't be suprised if it is denied in full, especially since the building wasn't even designed to keep water out.
Their insurance company is gonna love that! The videos on instagra. Where the drums are floating out of the show room after the roof collapsed was horrible. I wonder how many of the expensive guitars it damaged.
I previously worked at a GC for 10+ years and there is upwards of 10M in inventory, so from destroying the buildings roof (a property in LA), the hardware, merchandise, city utilities, and other cars - this was probably upwards of 20-25 million in damages. The cars were probably the cheapest things damaged tbf.

someone played stairway and this was the aftermath
Nope, they obviously played When the Levee Breaks!
Then The Ocean, followed by Texas Flood.
Hope they got the Pro Coverage
Guitar center sale! 50% off select items!
Dang! I was planning on dropping by this weekend. What a bummer. Hope everyone was ok. That Subaru looks like it trouble from out of the sky.
Always surprised at the amount of accidents on Ventura. People speed way too much.
The car crashed after they heard someone playing an 8k Les Paul through a solid state amp
They were having a rainy day special on Epiphones.
they heard GC had some smoking deals
The combo amps might be "safe", but they'll end up in the Doompster. Shoutout to hungry stringers. KM6ARC
They may want to rethink the placement of that hydrant.
Couldn’t have happened to a better company. 🤣
Nooo! Not the EVH 5150 😢

This isn't flooding in the natural sense. Though the insurance company will insist it is. Lol
@ Either way they will probably deny it. I think there is language in the fire contract about water damage from machinery.
It will be expensive to cover this damage!!
The Dick Dale sale
Morons with licenses, someone had to have done some totally idiotic thing for this to be the result.
good maybe it will wash away the smell of pee
That area is nice
It'll for sure, it'll
Mf gonna need a new insurance provider after this one. 😂
1:55 that one guys an idiot. Neither one of them can validate the speed unless they had a calibrated radar gun.
