I take my 2 year old outside either into the forest or the adventure playground daily. He gets to experience the cold, the wind, the heat, he gets the fall over, climb, run, and play ball. He counts pine seeds, follows insects, carry sticks and leaves. He’s very happy and confident, and I believe that’s because he feels accomplished in life by challenging himself daily in a natural environment.
It always impresses me when a child in forest school points out some of the smallest details or shows me a new bird. That young boy holding nuts and seeds for example. It's precious to bring the younger generation closer to nature as we once were. You can read about nuts and seeds on an iPad, but it's not real. Keep up the good work :)
Wonderful! Forest schools are finally picking up here in Italy. Hooray!! My 6 year old doesn't look forward to weekends...because there's no school on Saturdays :)
Fantastic! A brilliant outlook on teaching the children to be safe too. My children are lucky they have both gone through Scouting which has taught them invaluable life skills but I truly believe that Nature and growing things should be a mandatory part of the school circular from Nursery age, not only do we teach them early but by their teenage years they would learn the importance of the environment to survive instead of destroying it. X
Love this idea! We spend so much time teaching to all the other intelligences so it is time to also teach to environmental intelligence and what better way than getting outdoors! 😊❤🏞
It more signafifact about children then others school of town. They have gathering of all the precious things inthis Cosmos which is not available beyond the jungle ambiance.

I agree. There is nothing like getting out in nature and learning first-hand
An enthusiastic and informative film. Thank you, Jemma for describing the value of Forest School in such a clear way.
