Old school is a Webber 4 barrel carburetor, or the two SU Carburetors that were on my 61 122S Volvo Amazon, my first of 10 Volvos in 1967 and I still have 3 and the newest is my 1998 V70 CCX.

Rob! Quick tip I learnt as an apprentice for ya, AC will actually blow colder in temperature with the fan on a medium speed, it allows the air more time to cool passing the condenser !
Having the fans on full speed gives an illusion of blowing colder as the air is passing you at a quicker rate. Run the fans on medium speed for a while (airmix shut) and the overall inside car temp will drop lower !

I agree. I never run mine on full speed. Not sure why they instruct us to run it full blast while servicing it but they do.

I thought his was 6 speed? At any rate, they are hard to find with any transmission in them. Most people has never seen one live.

I usually check 2 more things cabin filter and condenser outside by the radiator. Most folks never wash the condenser.

Those are beautiful cars and an appropriate video today because my 850 R AC is acting up and I had to drive 100 miles with only the last 5 miles with AC in 97 degree heat and I am 76 with heart problems.
I need a paint job and can’t find anyone that wants to do it. Robert, I am still hoping to hear about the dashboard when you have time?
