Thanks, Joanne. In my youth, when I lived in the secular, I believe God gave me this music, and others like it to help get through hard times. Praise the Lord, it still does! Glory be to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
Songs like this help you get through the sick world we are in
Still puzzled as to what happened.............
There's more talent on that Stage than most Bands could ever hope to have. To those we've loved, and those we've lost, we still see, hear, and FEEL your Soul shine ✌️
My dads favorite band he could play the guitar just like Greg Allman. RIP dad ill learn to play just like you did one day.
I stand corrected this was my dads 2nd favorite band, his first was Rush.
Gregg played keys. Duane was the guitar player.
@@TheQakman oh ok thanks, my mistake
Lucky you!
@@sgtgeringer yeah and I'm kicking my self in the ass everyday for not learning from him before he passed away, now I feel so terrible that I didnt learn anything when he was alive. Playing the guitar is so hard 😪 why did he have to die, I miss my dad so much....
Such great guitar work, dawahyne and dicky played guitars that talk to each other. Great song. From some hometown heroes. I miss music like this
DEEP POETRY. RIP ALL BTH. THANKS.
This song is the most special one to me!
Nothing like a Gregg Allman song , Greatest Blues Singer!!!! Thank you Gregg for all the great songs. ♥️
Warren Haynes wrote this song.
The Allman brothers crossed the label's. from blues to rock to jazz to country. They did MUSIC That touched your heart.
Gregg was the greatest blues singer for sure!! He is my all time favorite musician and Duane & Dickey are my favorite American guitar players
@@GnLguy This is a Warren Haynes song with him doing the vocal, D. Betts on the other guitar. Saw them lots in the 90's, great times!
@@stevenseiberlich4754 Uh.....I'm not the one that attributed the song to Gregg and considering that I've followed the ABB since the 70s, I'm very familiar with Dickey & Warren. BUT to WildAtHeart's point in her comment - when Gregg sang a tune, regardless of who wrote it, Gregg made it his own. He was one of greatest interpreters of others works that I've ever listened to. His album Low Country Blues was a phenom recording of older blues tunes and with the way that Gregg sang them, you'd thought he'd wrote every song
What a tune !! 😎
What talent!! All man brothers!🔥🤙. Thanks Joanne 😊
My pleasure
Love this song my favorite!!!
UMMMMM! NOTHIN LIKE YIUR SPULSHINE ENCOURAGEMENT AND INSPIRATIONSLISM IN MY TOTAL IMPOSSIBLE MARRIAGE, BROTHER....ALL MY THANKS TO YOU FOR ETERNITY

Abosutly thank you. Knew him personally in my younger days.
Oh wow! I was in your FB group but I totally forgot about this channel when I quit and deleted Facebook. Looks like your channel has grown considerably! This was one of the top results when I was just looking to listen to this song. So glad I found you again.
Saw the Bros at the Fillmore West in SF. Greg was one cool cat, the band? Ouch, hurt so good
Young LADY you are in the right place at the right time 😅🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️ too answer my prayer for guitar lessons I just subscribed. That you!!!
this was just really fun to plAY! thanks joe
Sensacional banda, alegra o meu coração, são musicas tocada e cantada com o coração. Parabéns.
VERY GOOD THIS SONG
Perfection !!
Thank you!
THANKS JOANNE COOPER ROCKER THEN HIPPIE ROCKER NOW@70 2022
John G. Franklin sings this song better than anyone. He should be the Lead Singer for the Allman Brothers Band.
I took a "trip" yesterday and this song came on the moment the fleshy man stepped aside and the spirit man took over. The Universes way of saying don't be afraid. But don't go into antique stores tho when you are " there"...lots of bad juju trapped inside those things inside those buildings. 😂 It was meant to happen. Showed me how much negative energy there is left over in the world we still have to get rid of.
nice with the capo transposed makes it easier for those that can't play tons of barre chords. well done
I've noticed Warren Haynes always capo's 3rd fret when he plays "Soulshine"
I'm not certain tho do believe that's how he recorded it as well.
@@MrBigShotFancyPants entirely possible many do believe it or not use a capo.
lots use it very often and we're not talking about your journeyman players but actual professional musicians.
Gregg Allman is singing BUT it is a Warren Haynes song. Great guitar work from Warren -Derek and Oteil
♡
I MADE SOME INTERESTING ARRANGEMENTS ON THIS SONG
