Fuck the rear seat...anyways... The only thing that would make me nervous is the very first initial cut. If that cut is off, the rest of the welding would be ruined. :-(
No, you wont be using the back seat after adding that mounting bracket to it. The mounting bracket would be jabbing the rear passenger in the back anyway and that would only be possible if you cut a corresponding hole through the back of the rear seat. Speaking of that you could likely cut out a pocket in the rear seat to help cover up that suspension mod but no one is gonna want to sit there.
hi detroit speed, I have an 86 iroc and I'm setting it up for track racing like a road course and auto cross, lots of turns and what not, would the quadralink be good for that sort of stuff? better than just new sway bars and what not? Or is this more of a drag racing thing? Thanx
+lokihallow Yes, the QUADRALink would be a perfect setup for this. You can find more out about it here. www.detroitspeed.com/1982-1992-F-Body-Products/041722-QUADRALink-kit.html www.detroitspeed.com/1982-1992-F-Body-Products/041721-QUADRALink-conversion-kit.html
Do you guys sell those doubler box plate brackets alone?

is there enough room for a mini tub. No more than 2 inches
How will you be able to put rear seats back into the rear with these upper torq boxes?
Do yall install?
Do you loose the factory fuel tank with this mod?
Do you lose your back seat doing this mod?
You will need to modify the seat foam to clear the pocket, but you will still be able to use factory seats.
Good question - can you still use the rear seat?
Apparently not a question they want to answer.

Detroit Speed, Inc. Maybe a silly question, but does this allow you to keep your rear seats? Thanks in advance. Great videos by the way
