지난 컨텐츠에서 쓰고 남은 모래가 많기도 하고 햄스터들의 반응이 궁금하기도 해서 테스트할 겸 엄청난 양의 천연 모래를 사용해봤습니다. 엄청나게 깊이 파서 해골을 발견한다든지 아니면 각자만의 개성과 호불호를 발견할 수 있길 기대했는데 너무 기대한 탓일까요? ㅎㅎ 결과적으로 모두들 모래에 대해 긍정적인 반응이었고 은신처 쪽에서의 땅 파는 본능은 모두가 가지고 있다는 걸 알게 되었습니다. 만약 내 햄스터가 땅을 잘 파지 않는다면?? 굴 유지가 잘 되는 베딩들을 이처럼 깊게 깔아줘 보는 것은 어떨까 싶네요. 끝으로 세 햄스터 모두 5~ 10분간은 호기심에 이곳저곳을 둘러봤지만 금방 집에 가고 싶어 하는 분위기여서 손을 내밀었는데 역시나 다들 호기심이었을 뿐 모래 하나만으론 생활하기 어려워 보였습니다. 영상 자체에 큰 재미는 없지만 저같이 햄스터 사육을 하시는 분이라면 한 번쯤 궁금할듯하여 촬영하게 되었습니다. 항상 감사합니다~

Dusk Raven People are only expressing their concerns for the hamsters welfare, that isn’t a bad thing. As long as they express concerns in a polite way, that is. I’d be much more concerned if people had no concern nor care for the welfare of the hamster.

They are all snowflakes and too sensitive. Always took everything seriously even its not that serious. I bet they can’t even take care of a goldfish correctly and will die in just one day
@@LilxSpiider and fyi they make sand specifically for chinchillas and hamsters. They can have respiratory issues if you use sand not made for them thats labeled as a dust bath. Sand baths are perfectly safe
He has managed to tame them/bought them pre-tamed = they won’t bite his fingers and are not terrified of him. ☺️, 🙄 - for those assuming that the hamster was fat - all hamsters (doesn’t matter what size they are) have pouches on the sides of their face/elasticated cheeks, which they fill with food when out in the open, and then go to their nest and empty them, but with these confused hamsters, as the owner didn’t put any nesting/bedding in the brown thing - allowing the hamsters to identify it as such, they were attempting to dig a nest and not offloading their pouch’s, that’s why he had to retrieve them out the tank and put back in their cages 😕

What delightful creatures Hamsters continue to be. I always loved it when they're relaxed and just wandering around. The way their body flattens out but the legs stay underneath them makes them look like some kind of living rug, shuffling about. Too cute. Then they find something, assume BALL FORM, and eat it.
Since hamsters are used to deserts they don’t drink a lot of water, they could actually be born in a country like UK and still drink a bit of water. My hamster doesn’t drink a lot

I done this with my hamster I have him in a 4 foot fish tank . Never seen him so happy have sand tubes climbing bits in there. He must be enjoying it he over 4 years old now . Dose get fruit and veg hamster food and victims in his water. And has a exercise wheel . And get exercise in his ball. Love looking at tunnels he makes.
They are very old and its rare if a hamster is 4 years old! Also make sure not to leave your hamster in the ball for too long because it is quite unsafs
I remember when I was a kid I wanted my hamster to play in the sand with me at the park so I would bring her with me she loved digging in all the sand :)
I made half of my hamsters habitat all sand and themed it like a desert, she was a Syrian hamster I don't know if that makes a difference but she loved her sand
Is it bad to have food with sand because if they were to accidentally consume a little sand while trying to eat the food? Or possibly inhaling sand? I don't know these are actually questions that I'm curious about. not meant in a negative way I just am just curious.
I don't know about the eating sand part, but the inhaling sand I do know. So when it comes to sand, it's best to find "sand" and not "dust". Many brands that target hamsters have "sand dust" or "chinchilla dust" and those particles are so small that hamsters do inhale them and get them in their lungs causing cuts and havoc. When looking for sand, many use "play sand" or "reptile sand" because the grains are just big enough not to be inhaled by hamsters but just big enough to be used for play, bathing, or digging. When it comes to play sand (bought at hardware stores or online) , I usually bake it to kill off any bacteria or organisms that may be in the sand before cooling and then giving it to my hamster in his sand area. Unfortunately many don't know that "dust" is bad, and it's often paired with sand in many companies that sell hamster products despite the research and knowledge out there. So when it comes to sand, it is a good thing to ask/ research if the hamster can inhale it because the damage done can be real serious and unfortunately so many products that advertise to hamster owners are not safe for hamsters (ex: hamster cages in stores, sand dust, bedding, open wheels, hamster balls, etc). 햄스터들에 기네스북 최고 나이는8년이고5년은 아주가끔 나오는데 아무리 잘키워도 햄스터 수명은4년이지만 햄스터가 아주 튼실하거나 스트레스를 잘 받지 않는 긍정 햄찌는 정말가끔 5년 이상 산다하네요

I made half of my hamsters habitat all sand and themed it like a desert, she was a Syrian hamster I don't know if that makes a difference but she loved her sand
Is it bad to have food with sand because if they were to accidentally consume a little sand while trying to eat the food? Or possibly inhaling sand? I don't know these are actually questions that I'm curious about. not meant in a negative way I just am just curious.
I don't know about the eating sand part, but the inhaling sand I do know. So when it comes to sand, it's best to find "sand" and not "dust". Many brands that target hamsters have "sand dust" or "chinchilla dust" and those particles are so small that hamsters do inhale them and get them in their lungs causing cuts and havoc. When looking for sand, many use "play sand" or "reptile sand" because the grains are just big enough not to be inhaled by hamsters but just big enough to be used for play, bathing, or digging. When it comes to play sand (bought at hardware stores or online) , I usually bake it to kill off any bacteria or organisms that may be in the sand before cooling and then giving it to my hamster in his sand area.
Unfortunately many don't know that "dust" is bad, and it's often paired with sand in many companies that sell hamster products despite the research and knowledge out there. So when it comes to sand, it is a good thing to ask/ research if the hamster can inhale it because the damage done can be real serious and unfortunately so many products that advertise to hamster owners are not safe for hamsters (ex: hamster cages in stores, sand dust, bedding, open wheels, hamster balls, etc).
