This trailer doesn't represent the mood of the movie very well. This trailer sorta gives it a whimsical feeling, but it's actually quite dramatic and more grim.

Like most people are saying, I am reading this in my 7th grade reading class. I am on the next to last chapter, far ahead of my class. It has good pacing, a hair raising climax, and a sad end. The Kevin in this movie is pretty much how I pictured him. But I pictured Max having more hair, and not looking so fat. I got my ideas from the 2001 cover.
When my class finishes the book we'll see this movie. Hope it doesn't soil a great book.

Man, I just rewatched this film, I read the book years ago in elementary school and watched the movie at that time, I loved it then but now.... Can we all just stop and acknowledge how great an actor Elden Henson is? Like most people today only know him as Foggy from Daredevil but man, his acting in this movie was so good. Especially the scene after Kevin passes away, the visceral pain he shows there.... It's soooooo good! Love this movie, more people need to see it in my opinion.

Wir haben den Film gesehen und waren sehr inspiriert.
Wir haben auch sehr gelacht und sehr geweint.
Ein hervorragender und wirklich GANZ besonderer Film, an dem kluge Menschen sehr viel Freude haben.
