I’ve been fat my entire life. Since elementary school, always being called the fat kid or getting dissed by girls for being fat and just made fun of. I had friends and good friends at that. Everyone knew me but they also knew me as the kid who’s always been fat. Well I started my journey to lose this weight & become healthy. After 25 years of being on this planet. It’s time I made this change. & as corny as this sounds this movie inspired me to do so. I may not join the NFL but at least I’ll live a longer life than what I was going too. Thank you Brandon 💯
Just wanted to tell you that losing weight will not solve all your problems. I got bullied for being fat all my life mostly by my father. I finally lost 135 lbs naturally as an adult and he found something else to bully me about. Then I started getting bullied by other women for taking care of myself and being more physically attractive. Some of my “friends”even stopped hanging out with me because they didn’t want me around their bfs/husbands anymore. I had always been the “safe” fat friend. Then you deal with shallow people that would never even talk to you if you were fat start actually acknowledging your presence….It never ends….people will always find something.
This movie is phenomenal. Despite sadly passing away so young, he still lives on. Charities, awards and others have been named in his honor. His award is arguably the best just behind the Heisman. Those to win the Burlesworth Trophy include: Baker Mayfield, Luke Falk, Stetson Bennett, and JJ Watt

What a great movie 💯 💯 The interesting fact about this movie is that it's based on the true story of Brandon Burlsworth, a college football player who walked on to the University of Arkansas football team and eventually became an All-American offensive lineman. Tragically, Burlsworth's life was cut short when he died in a car accident just days after being drafted into the NFL.

That's why it's so important that college athletes be able to make money on endorsements while in school. He could of financially took care of his family
As a hog fan I loved this movie he was and has been a source of inspiration for a lot of players and he deserves to recognized as as one of the greatest college football players ever not based on skill but of his heart and will to keep fighting for what u want no matter what he is what every hog fan wants in a player and a person and he will always be remembered RIP Brandon and thanks for everything u gave us
Exact same thing happened to the son of a family friend. Great kid, loved his family. I often wonder why good people are taken before their chance to truly shine. No answers have come yet. Thanks
this is such a great move i saw it brandon burlsworth really busted his butt to get what he wanted it's sad that once he got it he couldn't live long enough to enjoy it drafted by the colts in the first round it's such a sad ending to a great story.
I was BIG and SHORT. Moved like a snail, but HUGE endurance. Working summer construction jobs I could out-work ANY of the jocks. SO, I turned my endurance into an electronics career, where I could work 2 shifts and through study and perseverance, I was promotion to full engineer at General Telephone by age 20. STILL, the weight was my constant, unwelcome partner. When after 46 years a well-paid “fat man”, specializing in Super Computers, I retired. Oddly my weight started to fall. Without dieting, I’ve dropped from 330 to 250 in a few years. Each month, I expect another pound to “retire too”. I’m a month short of my 75 birthday, a grandfather active in his grandchildren’s lives, etc. Anybody FAT? Don’t give up. Show the world you have exceptional value!

I was thinking the same thing. When I lived in Kansas we would call it Are-Kansas since there isn't a saw in the spelling, but that was only in jest.
The river in Texas is Arkansas pronounced as written. The state is Arkansas pronounced saw.
