    In this video, I'm going to break down the major pros and cons so that you can decide which type of dirt bike you should avoid and what dirt bike you should get for trail riding.

    I think for tight stuff 2t rule. But for everything else the 4t is the best because they have way more power

    Cheaper to run 4strokes , less fuel & no need to add oil to fuel.

      Yep. As long as you don't have to rebuild the complete top-end!

      @MotocrossHideout correct you already stated that in the video. Everyone knows everything equal a 4 stroke lasts longer. In saying that , my favourite motorcycles are 2 strokes, motorcycles i currently ride are Yamaha Belgarda 600 & Kawasaki zx12r 🚀💚

      4 Strokes are much more expensive to race. Not even close. The top ends on these 14000 RPM 250Fs wear out just as fast as a 2T, except the timing chain and valves need to be done at the same time. It's easy to spend $1000 refreshing a head.

    i know how to work both bikes fine, but i have ZERO patiance or have time to sit down and do maintancance, so for my very first bike do you recomend 2t or 4t,

      Any machine is going to require at least a little bit of maintenance if you don't want it to break down on you. If you want a bike that requires the least amount of maintenance, you should get an air-cooled 4 stroke trail bike.

    Ktm 300cc 2stroke vs ktm 450cc 4stroke?

    • @MotocrossHideout
      @MotocrossHideout  3 месяца назад +1

      For what? The 450 is going to feel heavier and is better for high-speed while the 300 is generally better for technical trails since it feels lighter and is less prone to stalling and overheating.

      Both are good. The 300 would be better for tighter technical trails.
      Not sure your experience level, but I don't recommend either unless you're an expert for a number of reasons.

      @motocrosshideout I need advice I loved my 125 smoker I sold it. I want a registered bike. As I’m looking for a bike which can do road tires and then switch the dirt tires when I want trails I was wondering if a smoker can still do the trick. All will I be up for top ends more frequently if I sit at 100 on roads ?

    • @MotocrossHideout
      @MotocrossHideout  3 месяца назад

      A 2 stroke would not be ideal for that. It's possible, but yes, the maintenance will be more if you're riding a lot of miles, especially a 125.
