  • Well it's been awhile. Time for an update and a cold start. I need motivation to get back doing the body work. I'm going to work hard at getting the door finished and look for a good body man to finish the cab.

It's not that you lost interest as you had other obligations that you had to deal with that took your energy to deal with...you just need to recalculate your ideas to finish this...your way. Spring is here and your spirit is renewed! We all have been thru it too!

Thanks for the motivation. I hope to get moving on this truck, maybe I'll find a body guy at some of the local shows this summer that can give me a hand. Thanks for watching.

Every car enthusiast loses interest from time to time. I'm no exception. I'll get all into them for a while, spend money, add more parts, fix things, and then I lose interest. 😂. The cycle repeats. I can imagine how nice your truck will look painted.

Thanks for the encouragement. I have a truck picked out that has the color combination I want, I just need to get there.

I know how that is Ken on trying to keep interested in body work. I had a knee replacement about 6 months ago. I starting to feel like messing with the Studebaker pu again. Thanks and have a great weekend

Yeah Lloyd, body work is not my forte, but it has to be done. Boy sorry to hear about your knee replacement, hope all went well. Take care

I hope with summer coming it will give you some motivation to get back on your truck, we all get the winter blues but spring is in the air so our love is rejuvenated for the things we neglected in the cold 😊

Thanks bro, I just need to make this more of a priority instead of looking at other interests. Stay focused is what I need.

I've seen other guys have the same problem, it's herd to sustain interest in something over such a long time. If you set a schedule for yourself, and do something on the project at that time, even if it's something little, that is said to help. You see progress, and it helps keep the motivation up. I have that problem with some of the projects around our house. There are a lot of things, little things, that I need to do. It's been very hectic lately, but I just have to do one thing, and then another. Best of luck, you're really doing a great job. If you go to a car show or two, you may even find someone who can put you in contact with a good body guy who can help you out. Then you can get to other parts of the project that excite you. All the best to you.

Thanks for the encouragement. That does sound like a good idea with the car shows, and summer just beginning so a lot of shows to pick from.

You know I enjoy the work on the truck - but I have enjoyed your other projects as well.

Thanks, I get side tracked awfully easy, but there is a lot of other things that come ahead of the truck. But we'll get there, thanks for watching.

Thanks Dennis, it's part of the process of restoration, I just need to get motivated and get rid of the other projects. Thanks for watching.

Not everyone loves all parts of restoring or should know everything . Do what you know best and sub the rest.

Thanks for the encouragement, and I'm looking for a good body man that's maybe retired and wants to take on a project in his spare time. We'll see what happens.
