seriously though. what is it about your camera or your settings that you get such clear high depth footage like this? i've been watching for a while and i would really like to know if you wouldnt mind sharing that is. I'm part of the Montana Warding Summit buhurt team in the NW region and would like to bring some higher quality footage to the meets
I think shooting in SLOG3 definitely improves quality. It gives you more dynamic range, but it requires more effort in editing to colorgrade (that's if you're shooting on a Sony, other brands will have a different log profile). I think using a lens with relatively shallow depth of field makes it look more cinematic. It helps isolate the subject and draw attention to the action. GoPros and Smartphones tend to have everything in focus, so I try to use a mirrorless camera with a 2.8 aperture lens
same for libusin pleeeeeeeeeeaase love your video good angle
Excellent footage! Thanks for doing this!
would be sick to hear a few of these guys mic`d up like the NFL games. Keep up the quality work my man
17:16 was an interesting strike
Yep, his axe cut through the strap and the visor flew open. I filmed it at 120fps and slowed it down in post to get a good look
You Eastern folks sure do have a lot of fun over there!
