This is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes every time. I love how the "burning" initially would be seen as something bad as the same way as leaving an abuser does but in the long run its what truly is better. Its so perfectly bittersweet thank you so much I deeply find this song cathartic

don’t worry about spamming! i actually got so happy reading this that I got the zoomies for a bit…….. im glad you like this one, i think it suffered a problem a lot of my older (now deleted) songs had where the instrumental doesn’t have a lot of breathing room, so to see someone appreciate parts of it that i honestly overlooked due to the flaws, just makes me really happy and grateful 🦆🪴
I finally decided to stop procrastinating and listen to more of your songs and I'm so glad I did!! This song is amazing, and I forgot that isn't an actual person singing, I have no clue how this is possible!
