solaria surprisingly works well for um, rock? or whatever this genre is. not sure. im entering the solaria contest and even if i don’t place this was super fun to make anyway + i wanted more practice with original stories that aren’t just me venting
thank you so much to my good friend aimee (charcolor) for making this PV for me, it was a new thing for me to collaborate with someone else, but i’m glad i had the chance to work with you
(the part before the first chorus is in a conlang of mine and says “kae ma ume te adiganba/ hamati ma aohaba” which translates to “you aren’t protecting your heart / ichor runs colorless”)
the oc in the video is named sothirael . they have lore. Don’t worry about it.
there’s some inspiration taken from a “certain” series, but it’s not meant to be in serious reference to it and any similarities are surface deep. =)

I've had this song on loop + generally listened to this so, SO many times since I found it! the lyrics are wonderful and I connect quite a bit with them, PLUS THE INSTRUMENTALSSSSS + the tone/mood conveyed from the vocal melodies, that sense of mournfulness and being overwhelmed by the sense of being forsaken by god yet also being overwhelmed by a type of great power, and also the way the voice sounds like... someone who's about to laugh at the misery because it was followed by empowerment, the darkness yet the sense of "I'm so ready to get drunk on power after being discarded HAH"

This has just been recommended to me but I wish it was recommended sooner. It sounds so good! Solaria sounds awesome and the instrumental is just muah. THE LYRICS. It’s heavy but not very heavy and I thinks it’s nice.
