I love that the "negative voice" is represented by a guardian angel. Even the most self destructive habits happen as a result of the mind trying to protect itself, though it ends up causing more harm in the end. coming to that realization finally allowed me to get some control and try to work with that voice instead of against it, and stop fighting myself, since at the end we have the same shared goal, even if we disagree about the method Anyway ahdjd sorry for the ramble, just saying this is some premium stuff, you gained a new fan 👍
I've loved this song since it came out, and now, knowing it's a response to Microplastic Girl? That the plurality and system elements are intended? That makes it mean so much more, even not being a system myself. Positive representation is so, *so* important for systems, and prosecutors in specific. People so often don't understand either, and this song does such a good job showing the reality there. That the persecutor loves you and is trying to help, to protect all of you, in the only way they know how. They either don't realize they're hurting you all, or do but can't help it and probably hate themselves for it. But they aren't the villain here, they aren't evil or bad. They're lashing out to avoid getting hurt. It's not their fault. It never was. You are not a monster. You are not wrong to exist. You are not to blame, for any of it. You deserve to be understood, to be loved and accepted.

hello! it probably took around 3-4 hours, it isn’t that difficult and synthv is among the most user friendly vocal synth programs! most of the time was spent actually inputting the vocal track midi, with only minor hand adjustments made to the pitch bends that it generated for me to better fit the song. there’s a free lite version of synthv that functions basically the same as the paid version but with less realistic vocals and without the AI capabilities, so I’d recommend trying that out first before dropping money on the program if you aren’t sure ^^ EDIT: i should add that because some of the melodies in this song repeat, i was able to just copy paste those sections and change the lyrics. it makes things a lot faster
