I’m confused he was pointing at the firewall. The firewall is part of the automobile body that separates the engine compartment from the driver. If you watch the video he is pointing exactly at the part of the automobile that separates the driver from the engine was he not?

i just ground mine near the frame by the light so i only have positive wires running through the truck
That’s what I did too. Much easier than running 2 wires

LEDs are low amp draw so I went with a 15 on my install.
So I’m doing 24 lights, 3 in each wheel well, 2 under each door and 2 in front and back, this wiring setup should still work the same?

Add a secondary battery
LEDs do not draw a lot of amps.Usually 1/10th of a incandescent bulb.Seem my post on a remote and relay install.This insures no parasitic draws.
